AG Care Liquid Effects Extra-Firm Styling Lotion, 8 Fl Oz

This product works ok, I purchased because the company no longer makes its hard jel. It isn’t as scalp lifting as hard jel, but good as a second best. It doesn’t leave a lot of flaking or residue in your hair, but does give your hair some body. It has a very light fragrance not offensive. Give it a try.

Great for fine curly hair. Smooths curls. Can still put your fingers through the hair.

BEST GEL EVER! this is my #1 product for curly hair as the stickiness creates a shell that doesn't let the humidity affect my hair. The smell and hold of this product are amazing, it's easy to apply and curls my hair instantly. I can't say enough amazing things. It's amazing!

I love this product! I use it with other Ag curl products and it works amazing. It’s the best my hair has ever looked. After styling it is soft and has way less frizz and perfect hold.

this is a very nice gel. It doesn't weigh my hair down or make my hair feel sticky. It does dry with a bit of a cast on my waves, but it crunches right out. Doesn't take much product so it should last a while. I don't notice any strong unpleasant scent with it.

Oh my gosh I love this gel! Now I have a big bottle of it. I have fine, thin hair and this works great to hold curl when I style with a curling iron or other styling hot tool. It’s easy to use and dries fast. I like to air dry my hair so I scrunch it up and let it dry. It’s not hard when it’s dry so I can brush through my hair easily.

I think the gel has a great hold however if you are protein sensitive, this is not the right product for you. I have low porosity curly hair. So my hair doesn’t like a lot of protein & this product has two protein ingredient in it and causes my hair frizz. I do like the AG Care fast food leave in conditioner tho. However the gel did not work for me.

My hair is more wavy than curly, and this product worked really nicely for me! It makes your hair feel a little stiff when while it's drying, but that usually goes away by the end of the day. It smells really nice too, so I would definitely recommend it!

Still my favourite gel I've ever used - really nice, smooth consistency that adds great hold and definition to my curls. Easy to scrunch out, leaving hair soft and shiny with no sticky residue or feeling of buildup. Usually I can just re-activate it with a little water each day to refresh my hair.

Don't be fooled by the name of this product. It is one of the best strong hold gels out there and is one of my absolute favourites. It applies smoothly, and can be applied after brush styling or brushed through using a styling brush. Once applied, this gel keeps my curls defined in high humidity or even in snowy winter weather. It has become a staple styling product and works well with the AG Fast Food Leave-In and the AG Recoil Curl Activator.

Très déçue par ce produit. Colle les cheveux et les doigts et fait des gros amas indomptables en plus de rendre les cheveux comme gras et sales. Bref, je n’aime pas et ne recommande pas. A la place, je recommande HairCare, activateur de boucles qui fait un super travail.
