Absolute significant improvement
Living 30-40 miles from an FM broadcast tower can make radio reception spotty depending on tower strength. In my case, a local station would have more static by me moving around a room or standing in certain positions. My receiver was equipped with a simple wire antenna that I tacked on a wall. It was not enough. This antenna has a long cord on it with a magnetic base for placement and extendable antenna. It comes with multiple inputs for different receiver outputs but in my case the base coax input made for easy screw on installation. It works perfectly, with the longer wire allowing a magnetic placement on a metal bedpost. No more static, strong broadcast signal, super clear. It might cost 2x a simple wire, but the value is definitely there.

Works Great!
This antenna really helps improve the FM reception on my radio. For example: with it, my radio can receive a weaker FM station (95.9 mhz) that's very close in frequency to a station with a stronger signal (95.5 mhz). Without this antenna connected to my radio, I can't receive the weaker station on 95.9 mhz at all. I have this antenna mounted on top of a refrigerator. The magnet really anchors it in place. I also like the fact that this antenna can be angled and swiveled.

Great Little Antenna to Get Better Radio Reception!
I purchased this antenna because I was having difficulties picking up radio stations on my Bose radio in my Man Shed. It has definitely helped as far as reception. Antenna is fairly well made and has a very strong magnetic base. The only drawback is getting to set on things that are not magnetically attracted (wood). Overall, very pleased with this purchase!

PERFECT!
There’s a certain feeling with FM coming through the airwaves in full stereo clear as can be, and this brought it back and I’m Loving it! It will be a hot minute before I stream anything at home again

Did it’s job
This antenna worked for my vintage 1990s receiver. We had to cut the end off because my receiver did not have a plug in for antenna, but just a space for a wire. Once hooked up we were able to get the stations we couldn’t before.

Easily Installed; Significant (but not "Spectacular") Signal Gain
I bought this for a small Sangean ("better-quality") AM-FM tabletop receiver that only came with a single, 1-meter soft copper wire antenna attached to a coaxial connector. The receiver had worked just fine as-shipped, so long as it was used within a 15 km of a major urban center. But when it was moved to a more rural location, at least 25 km from the nearest city of any size, all terrestrial FM broadcasts except for 4 or 5 channels dropped away completely to static, and some of the channels within range were "fuzzy." (In fact, using the original copper antenna, the receiver wouldn't even pick up FM transmissions from an old fashioned SiriusXM receiver installed in my vehicle -- parked in a lot about 15 meters from the radio!) I installed this antenna -- which was really easy and took less than one minute from shipping package to complete setup and functionality -- and immediately doubled the number of stations to which I could listen. (Yep, I was able to receive Sirius satellite signals in my vehicle and transmit them over FM from the parking lot to my Sangean radio.) Signals from some of the terrestrial broadcast stations were still "marginal" (produced fuzzy sounds or failed to turn on the stereo signal indicator light) but the improvement was dramatic and instant. I especially appreciated the magnetic base on the "whip" component of this antenna -- it allows the unit to be stuck to the side or top of any ferrous object nearby, and it also works as a weighted base for tabletop use. I also liked the long connector cord and the fact that the manufacturer included several different connectors (BIN; 2 mm, etc.) making this adaptable to various receivers. Overall, a good value -- but don't expect it to completely resolve reception problems in more remote locations.
