Pretty much what I wanted, a thin vinyl skin to protect against minor scratches and general wear. The vinyl can be difficult to place so I suggest cutting the paper backing to the vinyl so you can see the edges. Line it up on your laptop and use painters tape to tape down the side, 1/3 of a way in. Peel back the small side and cut the backing with sharp scissors. Lay down the vinyl from the middle out with your fingers, a credit card or strong piece of cardboard. Repeat.Lining the skin up perfectly is difficult and I would have preferred an offset to the inside so small miss alignments don’t have to be corrected. If you can correct them you can do it either by hand, picking the vinyl up by hand or using a soapy mixture to float the vinyl into the perfect alignment, OR a razor blade along the edge of your laptop to remove excess by cutting at an angle.

This kit looks great at first... Then after awhile, it starts to peel away from the computer's surface. You can try to flatten the curling, but it won't help. Anyway, 12mo into owning my new 13" MacBook Pro, I noticed the battery had suffered heat failure, if not the CPU as well. These MacBooks cannot handle the heat. They throttle performance w/o a skin. Add this skin and you'll be in my shoes, looking for a new laptop after yours swells until the lid won't shut. BEWARE - Of this skin & terrible Apple designs not worth your money!

The color appears a bit green in person, more than the photo represents I think. The resolution of the wood print is OK - not great, I'm being a bit picky here but I spent a lot on this Mac and I do think the medium-quality print resolution makes it look cheaper. The cutout around the Apple logo is not exact, it's too big. It's a bit tricky to apply, but that's par for the course given that this is a giant sticker. I recommend a wet application approach. Overall I was disappointed with the quality of the color, resolution, and cutout precision. I replaced it as soon as I could get another skin delivered. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money here.

I really like the durability of the sheets. Sitting in your position looking had me questioning and looking for someone giving some sort of idea on durability. Here it is: I give this a high rating because it will do its job. It will protect against scrapes & scratches. Any further expections than this, then you need a full plastic covering, some apple care protection, and a re-education on taking care of your things. The ONLY thing I can find a flaw in this, has nothing to do with the product as much as the installer. You. Need. To. Be careful. When. Applying this! It is not very forgiving so luckily I got it on the first shot. Yes “the first shot”. It’s one of those, BUT that speaks more to the quality of the product that against it. The color is SPOT ON and no doubts what you will get, which I loved! Lastly, the ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars Is because I’m a realist. Nothing. Is. Perfect.Enjoy!

I bought this skin for my new MacBook Pro and was pleasantly surprised to see that it also came with a keyboard skin. Both are of very high quality material. The skin is smooth and looks and feels like it will hold up well and protect my new computer. I got the wood grain pattern. As a graphic designer, I can attest to the quality of the graphics. The wood grain pattern is a nice reproduction. My only complaint is that it took a few times to line up each adhesive panel exactly on my device. I am wondering if there is some trick to getting it right the first time. The good news is that the decal can be repositioned so if you don't get it right the first time, you can keep trying. It is also super easy to smooth out any air bubbles. It seems like the adhesive is strong, too. Time will tell.

Just bought a new $3000 MacBook Pro. I was looking for a case to protect it. My previous Mac laptops I purchase generic plastic cases to protect my delicate aluminum laptop. However they always get dust and debris stuck between the case and the body of the laptop. Overtime it scratches the body of the laptop. It kills me to have those scratches on the laptop since I take very good care of my things.So I looked for a case alternative and so far I am glad I found this vinyl skin. It covers the top and bottom of my Mac well. The material is breathable and therefore has no bubbles when you put it on. Durability only time will tell but I am a fan thus far.

I own Macbook Pro 2016 and I have recently felt the urge to cloth my laptop. I was on the search for a while and finally found a design that fits my minimalistic & sophisticated demand. So I decided to buy this product hoping that it would make my laptop look slick.Everything was alright until I attempted to apply the sticker over my laptop. I found out the sticker was not as precise in terms of fit/dimensions as I hoped. Some parts of the sticker even suffered a slight tear on my 1st attempt on applying it on my laptop. I would expect it to be tougher because rarely anyone gets it right on our first attempt.After 30 minutes of applying and removing, the best result I got was some sloppy looking wooden sticker on my macbook. Buyer's remorse hit me hard and I regretted making this purchase. Some parts of the sticker doesn't stick completely so it bothered the hell out of me and I decided to opt for a plastic case instead. I am not settling for some mediocre laptop sticker that makes my macbook look worse than before.

MacBook Pro 2017 13” Notebook - This vinyl fits like a glove! The quality is great. The vinyl isn’t overpowering or smelly at all. It was easy to install and I would buy from this vendor again. Not a bad deal for the price PLUS I got a little keyboard cover that is a dream. I didn’t pay attention that I was also buying that item. ?? Oh well. I’m a happy customer. Take a close look at the edging of the vinyl on the laptop. It’s impressive. And the cover for the keyboard is lightweight and not fussy at all. It stays in place and even makes typing almost silent. Happy Customer right here.

It doesn't fit properly, it is literally a sticker and it does not even fit properly. DO NOT PURCHASE WASTE OF MONEY.
