Caramels have excellent flavor. I love them. BUT they are also hard on your teeth. I have had two new crowns put in my mouth over the last couple of months and I feel like the caramels are responsible for getting rid of the old crowns. BUT I still adore them so I have found a solution to the impact on my teeth. This is what I do. I put each one in the microwave for about 4 seconds before I eat them. (The timing might be different in your microwave, so experiment with timing.) In a warm room in the summer they are fine out of the bag). Also, your might find that you have limited tolerance for the sweetener. Two a day are fine for me. Otherwise I need GASX. Enjoy!

Slightly weird flavor but I love them. Hard to find dairy free gluten free candies and these are one of my favorites.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I discovered these in a multi-pack with a bunch of other Smart Sweets and really I mostly wanted the sours but now I'm addicted to the caramels. They are made with coconut sugar and are just the right amount of sweet. I picked up a regular caramel the other day at the drugstore and it was just way too sweet. These are the ultimate clean guilt-free candy.

Love these caramels - one of the only sweets I can have, but the price went from $25 to $45??? That's insane!

I love these candies.. literally live for these low sugar candies. I bought 12 pack and the taste was odd super hard not chewy. I salvaged four bags that tasted good. It’s a lot of money to pay especially when there are 6 little candies per bag and less than a third are palpable. I don’t know if I was given leftover old candy or it’s counterfeit…but big disappointment!

I don’t buy these anymore because they are too difficult to chew. They get painfully stuck in my teeth. Flavor is great but the texture of the product makes it not pleasant to eat for me.

I’ve been subscribed to these for a long time. I love that my family and I can eat candy that tastes amazing but has very little sugar, low net carbs, and lots of fiber! While these still taste great, the new formula is higher in calories, does not state the net carbs, and has half the fiber. The primary reason we eat these is for the fiber, so the change kinda sucks. Otherwise, we like the taste of a lot of the Smart Sweets candies. Picture- new formula on left, old formula on right.

My favorite candy. For some reason all my local stores stopped carrying this at at the same time. A decent imitation of a caramel with many fewer calories. Doesn't seem to cause GI issues like a lot of "diet" candy.
