I needed a rail mounted on the wall for aging family members, including myself in years to come. I looked at several different rails and read the reviews. I found this one and took a chance. I mounted it on a piece of 2x4 that I had and it is solid as it gets. My only wish is that the mounting holes were on 16" center so I could mount it without the 2x.

I got this because I'm having a hard time getting up the 2 steps in my entry way, I've fallen multiple times and figured I should do something about it. This is going to be a big helpSo this comes with big drywall anchors as you can see in video, my husband did that mess! LOL anyway he said the actors were not tightening up and the screws just came right out. Hence the moving of the item to studs. No worries about the wall it will be fixed and painted soon.Good, sturdy, I would buy again.

I ordered this for outdoor use. The railing feels well made and heavy duty. The finish coating is truly super tough and durable.Anytime having to mount something in a brick wall is not what I would call easy, but with only four screws, it went well.My only complaint so far is that the manufacturer should add some additional packaging at the ends to withstand shipping. (No stars deducted, because there was no damage to the rail.)It is as described and pictured on Amazon - 5 Stars from me

There's a narrow area along one side of my pool that only has about 1.5' feet of deck between a wooden outjutting of the wall and the pool, which is 3' below grade at that point. Unfortunately it's on the way to the dog run. My dad is staying with me and he's not the stablest on his feet these days so I ordered this bar to put on the wall to help him out. He loves it and says he feels much safer being able to hold onto it while he walks past that area.The bar is pretty simple and sturdy. The matte finish is easy to grab and hold. Installation basically consists of screwing it in. BE SURE you install this into wood/concrete/some other solid surface. Do not install it solely into sheetrock. Whether you use anchors or not it will come out one day unexpectedly on someone.

I ordered this hand railing for a basement staircase that lacks a hand rail. This one-piece steel hand railing is very sturdy; its welded joins are very clean and its matte black electrophoretic coating is chip-resistant and corrosion-resistant. The package includes four metal anchors (IMO best suited for attaching the railing to masonry) plus four M6 (6 mm) Phillips head screws. I attached the railing to a lathe-and-plaster wall using the provided M6 screws where I managed to hit a wall wooden joist, and using on-hand M5 (5 mm) molly wall anchors (ASIN B0B4914VM5 not included) where I missed a wall wooden joist. [The M5 molly wall anchors are stronger than the underlying lathe and plaster.] The railing is easy to grip and assists balance when I carry loads up and down the basement stairs.
