it does hold sparkling, Prosecco, Champagne, Cava, and regular wine bottles; but some can be a tight sqeeze into the metal shelving/holder especially of the fatter size bottles. Otherwise it's an awesome fridge that chills fantastically well, and is a good size for a home bar, bedroom or home office. Hope this helps. - Chris
