A pack of 1 - 120mm x 65mm wide (185mm incl. handle) x 70mm high Switchable Lifting Magnet. The magnet features a handle which locks safely in place to prevent accidental release. Simply turn the handle through 90 degrees to turn the magnet ON and press the unlock/release button and turn the handle back to switch it OFF again. Each magnet can support a steel weight of up to 100kg vertically from the magnetic face when in flush contact with a mild steel surface of equal thickness to the magnet. Each magnet can also support up to 20kgs in a shear position before beginning to slide down a steel surface under the same conditions. These magnets are held in place by the Magnetic Face and have a maximum operating temperature of 80 degrees C. The base of our Magnetic Pads have a polurethane coating in order to prevent damage to smooth surfaces. A small, ultra powerful, ultra portable, switchable Lifting Magnet that is an ideal addition to any workshop. Ideal for quickly loading and unloading steel parts onto milling and CNC machining centres. Also ideal for unleashing 300 Kgs of clamping force as part of a quick release clamping system. It features a small footprint area, a simple to operate switching mechanism and despite weighing only 3kgs, is tested to lift in excess of 300 kgs and has an SWL rating of 100 Kgs on clean/flat steel surfaces at least 20mm thick and 50 Kgs SWL on round bar steel.
