Not a safe appliance.
This charger melted the battery. I'm not sure if it's not compatible with the ryobi batteries. It just started smoking and melting.The battery. I unplugged it.Waited for it to cool down and it went to the trash. Kinda scary if I wasn't home. It might have caused an entire house to burn down. If you decide to buy this please don't leave this plugged in unattended
