Smooth arc, plenty of power
Compared to my old sip transformer this has proved very easy to use. 2.5mm rods burn very smoothly. Amp selection seems accurate in terms of rod size. Used on thicknesses of 2 - 8mm to date.Not so impressed with the lead lengths or the fit of the leads into the terminals, they don't seem too secure but they haven't come out yet ! May be other cheaper inverters but I went for a name I know.

Good piece of kit
Really lightweight with shoulder strap, works great, runs a 3.2 rod easily,so good for most DIY, I have a 16amp connection in my shed so it should do 160 amps, impressive for a very small unit
