Love the color!
Used on a pair of Doc Martens, first layer is more purple than brown, dries quickly. The second layer has less of a red hue than I would have expected for cordovan but it’s a nice, dark brown.

Wowzers!! Amazing results!
I don't have an image to show, but just trust me, this product is amazing! The shoes I found at goodwill was a good brand, the right size, and made from a high quality leather. The only issue was the ugly purple color! I figured there was no way I was going to turn that purple to brown but decided to give it chance, and I'm happy to discover that it worked! It came out exactly the color (I used russet) I hoped for. The process was super easy, quick, and it took just a little bit of dye on the applicator to make the change. Don't over do it! I didn't clean or prep the shoes at all, and perhaps I should, but my experiment has a happy ending. This option opens up so many possibilities! I will never pass over a pair of shoes because they are the wrong color again!

This is really good stuff
This product is perfect. The dye is strong. It penetrates and covers very well. Too bad it is nearly impossible to find in a retail store.

boots
Worked pretty well. There were a couple of lighter colored areas on boots that look like shadows but still look good. Wear nitrile gloves. I did !! Coverage on darker areas was perfect .

Great penetration, minimal color transfer
First time using Angelus, although have heard good things for a long time. Have used Fiebings almost exclusively until now. Will be using Angelus again in future. Easy to apply. Great depth of color with multiple applications. Several applications were required to get even coverage. Some transfer from stained but unfinished test scrap by scrubbing hard with damp cloth. Less than I expected under such abuse. Finished dog lead and collar with multiple applications of beeswax and heat. Resulted in beautiful luster. Not sure how durable this combo will be over time. However, the short term appearance was more important than durability for this project. Dog to play a formal part in wedding, and color had to match. Bottom line: Recommend and will absolutely be using Angelus again.

used on car seats
i originality reviewed this as a 5 but felt I needed to change it. The seats came out good but I felt they could be better. They still lacked any real shine and had a browning tinge and did not look new, I tried another brand and type of balm and compared to that this is average. The balm is what I needed to make my seats look almost new. After applying this product it took a little bit of hand buffing . the balm required no buffing. Before and after pics included

I used 2 coats to even the colour

Good Product
I bought this leather dye in suntan because I wanted to change a pair of cream-coloured shoes. I wasn't really able to find good swatches online and I was hoping this wasn't going to be too orangey, I'm very happy with how it turned out.On the cream-coloured shoes I got a nice light-medium tan tan colour result with 3 coats. I also did a pair of slightly pinkish shoes that were a lot more porous because the leather was older, and they turned a nice rich tan color. In both cases I wiped the shoes down with acetone. Then I sprayed them with 70% isopropyl alcohol and while the alcohol was still wet, I started applying the dye in a small circular motion. You need to make sure you don't oversaturate the little wool applicator because it'll just all run off the shoe/project. After I had coated the whole shoe, I wiped it off with a clean paper towel and let it sit to dry. Then I sprayed with the alcohol again and did a subsequent coats, again wiping right after I finished application. This prevented streaks and splotches. I have a leather conditioner I will follow up with .The older, more porous shoes turned much darker but still turned out really well and I used the same method as I did with the other pair to equally good results, although very different colours.I used the acetone and the alcohol because a Google search told me that would suffice instead of paying for the pre-treatments and it worked out quite well. If I had wanted the cream-coloured shoes to take on more colour more quickly, I probably could have gone over them with the acetone again because they are brand new shoes & not at all porous. This was pretty fast and easy and I would definitely do it again

great
I haven't used it yet but it came with guitar picks. I'm assuming a lot of people use this to relic their guitars. It comes with way to apply the ink so I'm really happy with everything. I"ve seen videos on youtube using this product so i'm sure it will work as intended
