reduced our traffic noise!
We have a busy street in the back of the home and the traffic noise could be loud at times. We installed these in the upper portion of the window (behind window treatments) and even just half of the window covered really reduced the traffic noise. I put them in all of the windows.

Dimensions not correct. Actually 47-1/4" x 23-5/8". Otherwise, better than foam for my application.
My vintage speakers had heavy sound absorbing foam on the front baffle when new in 1979. This foam disintegrates over time and must be replaced. The acoustic panel material from BUBOS was easy to work with and provided a nice update to the speakers. I used double-sided heavy duty Gorilla tape to mount them after cutting them to size with a sharp razor knife. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the results. The dimensions were a bit of a surprise as I was counting on a full 24" width. The listing describes the panels as 48" x 24", but they were actually 47-1/4" x 23-5/8". I would have preferred that they were the dimensions from the listing, but I made it work.

Perhaps they stick on drywall
Adhesion is not compatible with painted breeze block basement walls. An affordable effort to absorb some sound in a music/theatre room.Bit thin for the job at hand, I anticipate.

Good product from a trustworthy brand
I ordered these because I liked the idea of larger sheets of acoustic panels. I've purchased multiple products from Bubos -- art panels and hexagonal acoustic panels. Bubos is a brand I trust for a quality product. These sheets did not disappoint.I placed these sheets on the ceiling in my office over my desk. They've helped warm up the acoustics while on video calls by reducing the amount of reverberation in my 10' x 12' converted bedroom office space. I've combined these with other acoustic products on my walls (diffusers and a few 2" panels). Together, they've really warmed up the space without deadening the sound too much.I put these up with T-pins. I pushed the T-pins are various angles just as extra an extra precaution to keep these from falling but so far they're holding up great. No sagging of the panels and the T-pins are holding tight. As long as you don't expect these panels to do something they can't do, you'll be happy. These WILL NOT soundproof a room. Soundproofing is completely different than sound dampening. These are quite effective at dampening the sound waves that bounce around inside a room.

Pricey but stylish
These are very nice tiles, both to look at and to work with. They are denser and thinner than traditional fiberglass acoustic ceiling tiles. I got these to replace some damaged tiles in our family room. The angled shape /\/\/\ is claimed to help disperse sound and soften reflections. I only got a few for testing, so I can't tell how well it actually works, but the shape is unique and stylish. These are thinner than the fiberglass panels I was replacing and thus were able to more easily squeeze into tight spaces where heating pipes got in the way. The "BUBOS Acoustic Panels" also feel more sturdy than fiberglass panels and are easier to cut to create a nice fit around vent openings. When we bought our house one of the things I remember thinking is how ugly the ceiling tiles were, and wondering if I could paint them. If we ever sell I would definitely consider replacing the rest of the fiberglass panels with the "BUBOS Acoustic Panels".A quick search on the internet shows these to be 2 to 3 times as expensive as some other options, but I really like the looks and quality.Recommended

Great Acoustic Panels for Music Recording
This review is for the BUBOS brand Large Acoustic Panels,48" X 24" X 0.4" Acoustical Wall Panel, 3 Pack Sound Proof Foam Panels. (Full disclosure: I received this product for free through Amazon Vine in exchange for my unbiased review.)These acoustic panels are excellent. They are installed in a room used for music recording, and they've proven highly effective in reducing sound reflections—perhaps even a bit too effective if not positioned correctly. Initially, I was concerned that something was wrong with my keyboard because the synthesized percussion sounds seemed off. However, it turned out that the issue was caused by the improper placement of the panels. Once I adjusted their positioning, the keyboard percussion sounds were precisely as desired—crisp and clean.I opted to mount the panels on my wall using Velcro command strips. To do this, I peeled back and cut away just enough of the backing on the panels to attach the command strips to the adhesive side. Then, I used the command strips to securely affix the panels to the wall. This method worked wonderfully, and the panels are secure in place. In addition to their exceptional acoustic properties, I'm delighted with how these panels enhance the aesthetics of my room. I have various brands of acoustic panels on my walls, but these from BUBOS are my personal favorite.

Used these to cut down on game room noise
Our game room is adjacent to a bedroom, I mounted these on the shared wall to dampen sound and keep it from seeping into the bedroom. These seem to work as the bedroom is now more quiet despite the full on gaming action in the room next door. However, I think I need to panel the entire length of the shared wall to get the full effect, otherwise sound still seeps through. Aesthetically the boards are nice but boring and I didn't want to drill into them so I added some fancy curtains over them. Also I used heavy duty nano tape to adhere the panels onto the wall. I am not sure how to clean these, but have been using a vacuum for dusting. Recommend for paneling the entire wall.
