GET THIS! It's amazing.
I LOVE this head. Great for learning how to braid/cornrow. I'm trying to learn how to braid for sew ins and this is a great learning tool. Hair came rough and tangled BUT all you have to do is wash it with a regular conditioner and comb it out. After washing the hair, it was soft and very manageable. Recommend 100% for those who want more practice with braiding and weaving. Another big pro is it kind of resembles African American hair as far as texture so that's a plus!

It was super dry when I got it but that's expected
It was super dry when I got it but that's expected. I washed it and conditioned it and it had a lot of color that washed out but the hair looks good and is great for learning to braid. It does have a small amount of chemical smell but it's exactly what I wanted. I like it and plan on learning to put in a weave. It's definitely curly but not hard to work with.

It’s A Good Purchase
I think that overall this is a good purchase. When I took it out of the box the hair was very knotted. I simply co-washed it with my shea moisture conditioner and it went from Type 4 hair to Type 3. The first two pictures are when it was wet and the last two are when it was completely dry. There was some shedding but I think that’s to be expected. This most definitely isn’t kinky curly hair but I got it so I could practice braiding and I think it should get the job done.

I really like this
Awesome! I bought this to practice braiding and hair color for more natural hair styles.. takes color and bleaching well and has helped me with braiding practice.. doesn’t seem like it stayed an Afro well.. after you wash it hair becomes more of a lose curl pattern.. but that was cool for me.. thick hair and doesn’t shed that much..

Pretty good-looked exactly like picture
Exactly how I thought it would be. Mine did not have a smell. And it didn't shed too much. (I was expecting ALOT because of the other views) I washed and conditioned her using shea moisture products. Conditioned for about a 30 min. Detangle and blowdryer. Braids pretty well. Couldn't ask for anything else. Seemed really dry and matted once opened but after the wash it was fine. With water(like natural hair) it was easier to manage. Shes pretty. Shes does have some grey hairs though.

Holy tangles. Still great for a beginner's practise
The hair itself seems... weird. Great for practice... it's just that the hair tangles so much even after washing. I'm almost sure it's human hair - haven't done a burn test yet, but it seems like fallen hair, where the cuticles haven't been aligned in the same direction. So the hairs might be snagging on each other like that... think about a human hair weave that has been worn a few months too many.

Great head from this one!
Based on some reviews I was a bit skeptical about this head. She came out of the box with unsightly flat hair... did a quick fluff with a pick comb and she looks amazing! It’s great to get my hands in textured hair, but I definitely don’t want to start practicing some hairstyles on real people (just yet). Thankfully I have this mannequin now (why did I wait so long)?! The texture feels legit, it has full density hair, and she’s not as busted looking as she is in the photos!!

Terrible!
This mannequin head has over 5 different hair types, from curly kinky to bone straight, which makes no sense because they all get tangled together and make it very difficult to comb especially after washing it, there was a lot of shedding & debris, lots of different color strings/thread that would also tangle. It broke 2 combs & took forever to comb after washing & still can't comb through the crown, just too many knots & tangles. This was a waste of money but too late to return so I will try practicing cornrowing just on 1 side of the head.
