On the Amazon website, I selected the AWG size I needed, then the bolt size. The form default was for five lugs. When I picked 15 lugs the site updated the lug AWG size to something other than what I selected or needed. I expected that only the quantity would change and this resulted in receiving the wrong product. I am not criticizing the product or manufacture, only that the Amazon coders messed this up unexpectedly, resulting in a return and a project delay.Update, the replacement product arrived the next day. High quality and met expectations.

Well-built solid lug feels like it’ll last a very long time. It crimps down very tightly onto 6 awg wires with my small hydraulic crimping tool. The amount of shrink-wrap is reasonably generous. Would buy again.

super ez to solder since its tinned already. pure copper inside the coating.

The eyelet is small. If you are wanting to hook to a battery you will have to drill out the hole to make it bigger. Other than that works as advertised.

I bought 6 gauge terminal lugs to hook up a 10 kW electrical heater. Using a large crimp tool it crimped on just fine. I always pull test new crimps to check them. With the lug in a vice I pulled on the wire and was able to walk it back out. I retried using one size down on the crimp tool and it now held satisfactorily. These lugs are thinner wall than I think is standard so when crimping the tool bottoms out and only squeezes so much. I was able to make them work but I suspect a higher quality lug has thicker walls and would retain the wire more tightly.

I needed to make 5 wires with these lug ends. I receive package #1, it has 9 of 10 pieces, I order another pack of 10. Believe it, package #2 arrives, and has only 9 pieces, as well.Product description indicates a package of ten, sadly both packs I received were short one piece, only nine in a pack of ten.If you purchase this item, count the items in the packages you receive, are you short 10% of the product, like me.I now have purchased enough product to complete my project. I'm not purchasing a third package to verify, if there are consistent 10% shortages for this product.Is it a quality control issue, counting to 10, or a machine incorrectly filling the pouch with a wrong weight, or number of items - or deliberate (to increase profit margins) ?There probably will not be, repeat customers, if there are consistent 10% product shortages.However this item, is of very good quality, it works really well. Sadly, I did not receive the product quantity I paid for.

There is not a lot to be said.I received a two-pack of lug that was well-priced very quickly, and am comparing them to a copper version for a project.That doesn't mean this is better than the copper version; just that I'm comparing them.The cable pocket does not have a gap, which was meaningful for my project, but may be a detriment if it's important to you depending how you're soldering it.However, overall, I recommend this project.

These crimpable and or solderable cable terminations performed well and met my expectations when used on welding cable for use on my winch installation. I used electrical solder first and then a high presure 6 sided mechanical crimping tool to ensure a effectively conductive connection that resists pull out under any forseeable scenario. The size I use was for 2 awg.

This was the best price, for the earliest delivery, in my case. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the 2 Lugs I recieved and immediately used both, sprucing up the leads on my old Lincoln AC 225v Buzzbox...just going to fire it up and test it out now, no doubt that I'll be experiencing an uptick in performance now that I'm a guage or 2 thicker and working with the best cable to welder connection possible....
