I use this tool alot. Preferred over the four different sizes circular pitter which have dull teeth and TORE the inside of the fruit. This tool has a sharp end. Cut the ends off a grapefruit or orange. Insert this tool to cut out the core, 4 maybe 5 cuts and the core comes out clean. Then continue to slice off the rind with a knife and the fruit opens up like an accordian. If you cut well on the inside and then on then outside, the slices have a tendency to come out in whole chunks.

I love the Zucchini corer it's a fantastic tool. I used it last night when I made wonderful Lebanese Stuffed Zucchini. This is made have for the serious cook, it's a great tool.

Used this to clean out some jalapenos. Works great to strip loose the ribs and seeds but still needed forceps (tweezers) to pull the stuff out. Happy with my purchase.

I used this to core zucchinis and it does the job perfectly. Cut the zucchini's head, insert this tool a little toward the edge, rotate and pull out.
