I expected a bit more quality in craftsmanship even for basic orthos. The eyepeices are plastic and gimmicky. They offer great views for orthos and this counts but I'm seriously concerned about their long-term durability. I'd take a University Optics set any day over these orthos. They lose two stars for me because although they're famous for being, optically, some of the best orthos and they largely live up to that, the cheap craftsmanship of the parts really feel like they just dropped out of a cracker-jack box.

Everything exceeded my expectations. The only issue I had, was it was not clear that it was a turret. This was my favorite aspect of the eyepieces, but I didn't know that when I bought it.
