PS2097 Service Parts Repair Toilet Tank Drip Tray, White

This product works great for me. My toilet was sweating a lot during the summer and this saved my floor from going moldy. It does not look great, but it is much cheaper than what my plumber recommended, to replace the toilet with an insulated one which would be around $700. You can easily remove it for winter months when you don't need it. It is not attached permanently, it only hangs on few wires.

I thought this was something for the floor but learned it fits just under the tank. Works great when used correctly! I had previously used towels on the floor but this is a better option.

I had no experience with drain plates on a toilet till I odered this one. The picture shows three brightly colered sponges. I got 2 dirty white sponges slightly tinted with a trace of yellow. They do not look nice. Their ability to absorb is mediocre at best. I am looking for better more colorful sponges to put in this drain dish. It does catch the water but you have to use the sponges to get the water out. I'm suprised there is not a small hose that goes to bottle underneath this plate. It would be better to empty a bottle than use the sponges to soak and squeeze the water out in the sink. It does catch the water but if you do not sponge the water out, it will still overflow. Also if you have a bidet connection like I have, this was not made with that in mind. so you either need to extend that connection out an inch or let this dish set tilted on the top. The water will still run down the plate to a sponge or puddle. The metal connections do their job and are totally bendable, very pliable and easily adjusted.

This thing ended up in the trash. It gets in the way of cleaning and very annoying to have to wring out the sponge every day. Speaking of sponge, it comes with the cheapest type sponge that doesn't even soak up the water. I ended up buying a dish sponge and cut it in half to place on each side. This was definitely not worth the money I spent on it. Alas, I'm still looking for a solution to my sweaty toilet tank. Most likely will buy a new tank. Buyer beware, don't waste your money.

This is a great little gadget!! for the price it is an inexpensive fix. It is easy to install. and so far scoop.. good no more water on the floor. I should have bought this along time ago. So glad I have it now :)

Suggest a two person install so that one person can hold the tray level, but installation was pretty easy otherwise. Feels and looks about what I was expecting, so no issues there. The comments about the sponges…yes, the “sponges” suck because they aren’t actual sponges. They are some form of thin packing foam. They would be considered great if used as such, but they aren’t sponges and therefore won’t do the sponge thing. The seller should really just leave these out if they aren’t going to provide real sponges. Although, not too much of a big deal since it’s considered a consumable for the lifetime of the product and you should switch them out after so many leaks anyway.

Its not pretty, but it does the job, i dont have a puddle to clean up off the floor. It is not easy to clean as the aluminum strips that hold it in place are rather flimsy, so you just need to carefully manage it and its fine. Like i said, it does the job.

In the summer our toilet loves to sweat, as if it's been watching Richard Simmons' Sweatn to the oldies. The tank is settled on an outside wall, we would get puddles on our bathroom floor. This is a flimsy tray with two small sponges that you would have to wring out ever hour or so if we were to use it. I decided to go a different route and just line the inside of my tank. Turned off the water, and noticed that he shut off valve didn't seem to work so I replace that with a sharkbite quarter turn valve. Dried out the tank and got some foam siding insulation. Used superior silicone 2 I believe it's called. Smells like horrid vinegar and feet, but man that stuff will stick like none other. It's a nice burning sensation you get when you receive a nice nose full. Well when all that dried I put the tank back together and everything is working great. Tried to get a refund but waited to long, was my own fault. Other than that the company was very nice and it shipped pretty fast too.

The product came cracked. Assuming it got accidently broken in shipping. The company was very understanding and gave me a refund. The product was very good.

Terrible quality. Doesnt fit, worse is they make you pay for the shipping to return it and doesnt answer back when you ask why. Thin plastic, they provide 2 glued sticks to hold the item up and sponges that move about to soak the water in. Be better off with a towel.

Toilet Tank drip tray!! Does not fit a standard size toilet/tank. Tray too large. Water supply hose connection does not fit into the slot provided. Straps too short. Do not waste your money!!! When your return this product, you have to pay return postage.
