Does what I wanted.
There is an underground political movement to use blue lightbulbs to express your opinion. Unlike yard signs people would have to break into your house to steal a blue bulb. Anyhow I put it in my second floor window and it's bright, very bright. It lights up my yard with a blue glow and can be seen at least three blocks away. Plus since it's blue it isn't very obtrusive upon my neighbors. However, like I said, it is very bright.

The pic on Amazon shows this lamp as fully purple. It is NOT ! Half of this lamp doesn’t have the purple Color and it’s actually transparent! Too bright because of it and it even has PINKish light not quite purple

Wasn’t what I thought.
I expected a soft pink light like the descriptionSaid. Super changes the lighting.Reminds of the girly’s spa. If you know what I mean.I just want a bulb that has a light tint of pink nothing over bearing like this bulb.
