The opening in the backside of the center pin was too small for any of three brands of RG-8x cable I had. You could tack solder a center connector to the back tip of the center pin but a little flexing and that would fail and be like running your rig without and antenna or Dummy load. I found another brand that works fine and attached properly and securely and am returning what I was sent. In general if you order any coaxial connectors from Amazon check them out carefully as there seem to be bogus/defective crimp connectors from more than one source. I also have bought some connectors made in China that were well made, work fine, and are holding up. Caveat Emptor!

The product is good BUT it was missing one of the 10 that it should have had. The package was missing one and you could see that someone took one out. Sad but I didn't open my package soon enough to return it..

Even when crimped, I had to secure the feed line. The sheaths are meh.

The quality of the connector is very good, I made several cables , Work well.
