Works like it should

While it definitely did not wire up directly with my John Deere 318, I was able to make it work. Seems to be good quality so far, hopefully it lasts through winter.

Pretty easy install and the product worked as is stated in the description

Brand new key switch AM38227 for a John Deere 316 did not work in Run but did work in Start and Off. Poor quality control. The switch should have shorted the incoming battery terminal with 3 other terminal but did NOT. Kept the keys and nuts, remounted the old switch which worked fine. My JD316 is old and I wanted to replace the used starting switch. Not worth trying to get another switch now. Need to use the tractor, so I cleaned up the old switch and re-installed it. Works fine. 4/2/2023
