Big, thick, but high quality
This is large, but due to the material its made of is easy on knife blades. Wife loves it.

Great Board!
I love the size and the quality of the board. The cutting-feel is different and takes a little getting used to, but overall this board is a great buy.

OK If You Don't Mind Stains
This cutting board seemed really nice. Good size. But I hesitate to cut anything on it because of staining, plus I am not comfortable sitting anything very hot on it. The manufacture should have directions on how to clean this board.

Perfect, preserves my knives too
Food stays put. My Japanese knifes say, "thank you." Easy clean up. The SC102 size is large enough to handle all my needs.

Great board
I wish Amazon US carried bigger sizes. These are great on your knives. The edge doesn’t go dull for a while.

Wide Size format
I really like the format, wide but not too deep, kind of 16:9 vs old school 4:3 in geek language. An absolutely must if you invest in VG10, SG2, carbon steel, etc Japanese knives.

What Should’ve been
I pretty much liked everything about this board. The look feel weight chopping mechanics are good. However the main reason I purchased this was to repel germs and to have a non toxic surface. What did I find out ? These stain easily which means they do retain water and thus can harbor bacteria and germs. They dry thoroughly after a short time. The biggest negative is that upon cleaning and wiping with cloth or synthetic pad these release small dark to black particles. At first I thought it was just a coating layer that needed to be worn off. After two weeks of daily use these black particles continue to be released. This has me concerned.
