This is a great starter kit! And the price is great. We got this for my son for Christmas with his first fishing rod. He has since added to his collection, but this seemed to have everything he needed.

I bought this set for my 8-year-old nephew who loves fishing but has a talent for losing gear faster than he catches fish. Budget-Friendly: A great gift that won’t make you cry when the lures mysteriously vanish. Cons: Unlikely to Stay Intact: Let’s be honest, half of this will probably end up as “fish donations,” but at least he’s happy! Real-Life Experience: Watching my nephew light up when he opened this kit was worth every penny. He spent hours excitedly sorting through all the pieces before promptly losing a lure on his first cast (classic). But hey, it’s all part of the fishing adventure, right? Nice variety for the price. Hooks are basic. The clips are small and I will not use them. The kit is still good because if I bought the lures, jig heads and weights separately, it would cost more, and the little box keeps it organized. I’ll leave it in the car with my travel rod to be prepared to randomly get on some fish at a small body of water if need be.

About this for my grandson so when we go fishing, he’ll have something to put on his hook on his line. If you have a grandson, I’d recommend it. It’s great not hard to use worth the money. Thank you.
