Works perfectly, Fixed my AC issue
The fan on the AC unit outside was not turning on. What I noticed is that whenever It would try to come on, I would hear a loud click and then a humming / buzzing sound. After spending a while searching online for what the issue could be, All signs pointed to a part called the contactor. I have an old Trane AC unit Model: 2TTX4036B1000A and on it was a Contactor with a model number of: C147094P02. After doing a search for that contactor model number on Amazon, This item was one of the first results that came up and after reading the specs and the reviews I went for it. At this point I was without AC for about 2 days and the wife was already pissed off and I didnโt want to call an AC guy and possibly dish out $200-$300 for something I could have done (no offense, I know we are paying for your knowledge and time, not whatever the part costs). Overall, It was a pretty easy swap, just remember to turn off your breaker for the AC unit (inside or outside the house) and donโt forget to take pictures/ videos of how the old one was hooked up so that you have something to look at for reference just incase. I want to thank the other person who left a review and Included a picture of how they hooked up their contactor, I was a little confused of how this contactor should be mounted but after looking at their picture I could clearly see the labels on the contactor as well as the color of each cable and where on the contactor they all plugged into so I copied the same thing and my contactor had to be mounted upside down as well, and by that I mean when you are looking at the contactor, all of the words and labels are upside down. (I,ll include a few pics of how the new contactor looks mounted as well as how my old one). Another tip is to loosen the screws on the new contactor before you start to transfer the cables in, I think I wouldโve had a hard time loosening the screws while the contactor is hanging in midair vs placing the contactor on your table and loosening the screws there. I personally had to loosen both screws per each side, The top screw with a flat head and the one underneath with a phillips (screw underneath is the one thatโs attached to a small cube, The cube and the screw clamped down on the connector of the wire and I had to make no modifications to the wire connector or cut / strip wires or anything. It was all plug and play, It looks like this contactor gives you several options for different types of connectors or if the cables are just stripped to place them right in. After all was set and done, I turned everything back on and after a few minutes the fan on the outside AC unit was spinning again. I finally had cold air inside of the house but most importantly a happy wife!!

Nearly a drop-in replacement
Nearly identical to the 27-year-old C147094P02 contactor it replaced. This one has screw terminals instead of lugs, so I had to cut the lugs off of a few of the old wires when I installed it. Once that was done and all the wiring was secure, it worked perfectly. Likely would have been a $500+ job from an HVAC company. Glad to have it fixed for the summer!

Connectors on the unit must be cut off to use this.
I didnโt like the fact that I had to cut off the stock connectors to use this. Would have saved me a lot of installation time time (and worry) , if it had matched up with the units connectors. Adds to the risk you could mixed up the wires. In the end it work fine and has continued to work for several weeks.

Perfect replacement
Replaced the 15 year old contractor in my unit which was badly pitted from thousands of engagements over 15 years of use. This new one works perfectly and has a fully enclosed coil and contractor assembly. Looks like it should last at least as long as the old one itโs replacing.

Poor quality
The first unit arrived and did not work. When applying 24 vac, the contactor engaged. But there was no connection between terminals T1 and L1. The replacement unit arrived and it had the same problem. So, I took the thing apart. There copper piece that drops had some type of coating on it. The same for the bottom piece. I got out some sandpaper, took off the layer of coating, and voila, success. I guess the manufacturer puts on some type of coating to prevent oxidation. But all it does is prevent connectivity. LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER !!!
