Maydear Embroidery Kit for Beginners, Adults, Floral Pattern, Cross Stitch Kit, Embroidery Hoop, Color Threads, Scissors, Non-Foldable

I am experienced in many types of embroidery but haven't done any in years. I decided to start again with an easy kit that had everything (all of my tools were gone) since I have arthritis and wasn't sure I could still do it. Happily if I go slow I can and liked that everything I needed was in the kit. The outlines are easy to see, and there is plenty of floss. It's not DMC quality but acceptable for the price. Luckily I still have my books and written stitching resources because the included stitching instructions are somewhat difficult to follow, and the ink in many instances is faint. I found myself going back to my books and illustrations and doing several of the stitches the way I was used to. This is a nice kit but you will need better instructions especially if you're a beginner.

I really wanted to get into embroidery and I had absolutely nooo skill in the subject. This kit was PERFECT to start with. It has a little guide on how to do the stitches necessary for the flowers, how many threads you use for each stitch, super helpful tools, the whole works! I’m still working on the project but it really is enjoyable and I’m glad I started with this kit!
