Great tool
Needed something compact to install shingles under a tight overhang. Worked perfect.

Useful for starting nails in tight spaces
I tried to use this for vinyl siding, but the underlying boards were too old and hard for this thing to be able to drive the nails to the required depth (the house I'm restoring is almost 100 years old!). It was useful for getting the nails started (there's a spring-loaded shield that holds the head in place while you're getting everything placed and aligned. It's not a one-shot "BAM" nailer; it works more like an impact driver, and uses a fair amount of air, so don't try this with the same tiny compressor you might use with a brad or finish nailer (you'll spend a lot of time waiting for the compressor to catch up). With the right compressor, I'm guessing it would be fine for its advertised purpose driving roofing nails through shingles into OSB.

Worked awesome in a tight space
Had a roofing project and only had about 6" of space to put nails in, which meant hand nailing and a regular pneumatic gun were not options. Purchased this and I was able to nail each shingle securely and rather quickly as well. Worth the money!

Nails need to be started straight
Works great with my pancake compressor. Price was good.

Great time saver, requires frequent maintenance
This palm nailer is a great time saver and helped me get into very tight places where I couldn't swing a hammer. It stopped working after the first 20 nails so I disassembled it (per the instructions) to check it internally. Found a lot of "manufacturing" debris inside which I cleaned out, greased the components, and reassembled. It started working again, only to stop after another 40 nails - so I disassembled and greased. I eventually determined that the gun needs sustained ~125 psig operating pressure to function normally- my Craftsman 4 gallon compressor only reaches ~118 psig and cycles frequently to keep up. If I paused every 20-30 nails the nail gun was able to drive 100+ nails before stopping. I still had to disassemble, clean old grease, and grease more frequently than I would have expected.

So far so good
The unit I got had the exhaust port stuck open and I was not able to get my compressor up past 50 psi. On advice of the seller I connected the unit after the compressor was up to pressure, and it seems to be working fine now. I will update if I have any other issues. Thanks for the timely and accurate response!
