I had a laceration injury on the side of my hand just above the thumb, and the urgent care used an ace bandage to hold the dressing in place. This worked fine for a day while resting, but at work it moved around and wasn't working for me.Saw this support and ordered it and it worked perfectly to hold the dressing in place and as a bonus to help the swelling. There was 2 in the pack, which meant that when one got dirty I could change over to the other one while I washed the first one and let it dry . I washed it with a nail brush and some soft soap and it came up like new and dried perfectly.I had no allergic reaction to it, and no irritation. Its not particularly supportive, but it's perfect to hold a dressing in place and protect it from dirt and water.

This works surprisingly well considering it’s just elasticized cloth. It supported my thumb and made my wrist feel better. And you get two. Which is good because they are tiny and easy to misplace. The one drawback is that they are hard to get on and off.

Unfortunately, I can't give this 0 stars. I don't know why they bother asking you to measure yourself. I couldn't even get them over 3 fingers - much less my whole hand, and since these are a 1-piece item, that's the only way to get them on. Even if I could have gotten it on, I imagine that my thumb would have REALLY hurt by the time I finally got it in the right position. Don't waste your time. Get an adjustable brace.

The media could not be loaded. This is an extremely thin support. Was going to send them back but after trying it. But it gives relief, it’s less restrictive and can be worn under a heavier brace to stop rubbing.I will be keeping these. one for work and one to sleep with.

Very very thin and NO support but will keep them because they work under my brace to keep it from rubbing. I found another comfortable supporting brace. And another website.

2nd Brace order from this company. (previously ordered the shorter version of these) I love these lightweight braces. I ordered size S and it was the perfect amount of (light) compression around my thumbs and wrists.. Most size "small" are too big for me or in men's sizes in braces, so I was really happy to have these as an option.Every brace besides these I've tried were too bulky for my needs (light compression while on computer, holding a mouse/game controller, etc.) These work great and do no impede movement. It would also be *very possible* to add a thicker brace on top if you required more stability. (I have added a thicker wrist brace over these on days when I needed it)

Size small is too large for a woman with small or slender hands. The material is thin and loose. It does not adequately support and compress the thumb joint.

First, I own several products from this brand; all thumb supports. I was referred to Amazon by an orthopedic surgeon due to the cost versus getting them thru insurance. Everything I’ve ordered has exceeded my expectations for the most part (quality of Velcro varies with all companies, in general). That being said, the fit is very comfortable & provides good compression for daily use without being annoying. I got these specifically for the thinner wrist support & chose Medium for better compression. I can even wear thumb rings while wearing these sleeves. Definitely recommend & will be buying more for replacements, as I wear these daily due to due arthritis & De Quervain’s Syndrome.
