CalphalonClassic Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware

This Calphalon pan is amazing. I can use it like a regular frying pan or kinda like a wok. It’s versatile and very useful. I like that it is lightweight and easy to clean. The non-stick is perfect - when I fry an egg and it just slides right out of the pan with no coaxing. The lid fits really well and cleans up easy. It’s nearly as heavy as the pan. Both pieces are nice and sturdy.I use this on my gas stove and it works well on low, medium or high heat. I chose this handle design because I wanted something lightweight, and also because I frequently have 2-3 pots on the stove at a time. The kitchen is small so we’ve had a few incidents where the handles of pans got knocked causing spills. These handles are thin and short so don’t expect them to stay as cool as a regular handle. I just use square crochet trivets to grab the handles - cuz the handles don’t get super hot.This is my 3rd Calphalon pan in 20 years. They’ve really never disappointed me. I’m excited to replace my 10” skillet next. The old one lasted over 10 years. Don’t know if I’m meant to keep them that long, but I did. And I’m replacing it because it’s non stick coating doesn’t work properly anymore.Be aware - this is pan I’m reviewing is not the kind of Calphalon that you can use with metal utensils - it’s part of the classic series - so use plastic, silicone or wood tools with it. The packaging tells you this info too. It was packaged nice and arrived quick.I’m in love with my new Calphalon pan.

I'm really happy with this pan and glad I bought it. It replaces an earlier version of this pan from Calphalon that I've had for years. The size and shape of this pan make it very versatile and I use it multiple times a day for different meals. My older model had rubber grips on the handles, which is the only thing I miss on this new version.Also, I bought this pan from Amazon Warehouse and got a great price on it. It was listed in "like new" condition, and was being offered at a great price. I was pleased when it was delivered and found it to be in perfect condition and obviously unused. The manufacturer's box had some minor wear, but that was it; otherwise, the pan I received is brand new. I recommend giving Amazon Warehouse items a try - I was very happy with my experience. Free shipping and returns, so if you're not happy you can send it back just like any other Amazon item. Worth a shot.

Nice deep pan and calphalon pans are fantastic.

Great size for a variety of cooking. Would be better with a thicker base to hold heat, but can't beat the price.

This is a great "go to pan". It serves many purposes, serving a one dish meal for two or feeding a larger crowd. IT cleans very easily but do not put in dishwasher, it effects the coating and don't use metal utensils. If you honor those two rules it will serve you well for several years. Great product!

And this is great for cooking bacon, rice, and scallops so far. Great non stick pan and the lid is also very nice.
