Venus Flytrap 'Akai Ryu' (Red Dragon) Small Carnivorous Plant

This was shipped with the greatest of care. It arrived thriving and happy. I ordered a B52 from another seller. He shipped it in ziploc bags. No protection for the plant whatsoever. And it is dying with no hope to recover. All due to how it was shipped. So thank you to this seller for doing a great job. The plant has eaten twice already and is doing great! This is who you buy venus flytraps from.

No instructions...and it died because it is not in the right medium of dirt I found out later...total rip off...never again....waste of money...and I own at least a dozen house plants that have been alive for up to 12 years...so I thought I knew what I was doing...they need to either have the correct limestone to soil mixture or have instructions as to why these will not live unless you transplant them in the correct medium...

I haven't killed this yet, which is a huge surprise since that's what I'm good at. On the other hand, I don't think it's grown any, but maybe it has a naturally slow growth rate. I'm not sure if I was supposed to transplant it yet. The instructions said to wait so that it wouldn't be a shock after traveling. Since it hasn't grown any, maybe it's still acclimating? It's only been about 3 weeks. I haven't seen it eat, although there have been plenty of fruit flies around, and that kinda concerns me, so I got some freeze dried bugs and gave it one last week. I think it's still working on it. Curious to know if the leaf is going to die after eating or if it will open back up again. I have lots of questions that the instructions didn't answer, but the fact that it came with any instructions at all was pretty amazing.

Plant was well packaged to protect it in shipping. Plants were looking great when they arrived. It is important to acclimate these and understand that shipping can cause stress and die off but it will grow back as long as you follow care instructions. I was very surprised to find a free pitcher plant in the box as well! Super great value and I am extremely happy with this purchase! Thank you!

a couple heads are dead and it looks pitiful. i have had my share of these guys and by far this is worst it looks like its on its last leg also u can only request support threw there website not amazon....if i wanted to deal with a whole other website i wouldn't have went threw amazon......

Came in potted and in good health. It was packed so well that nothing was damaged and the traps were not even disturbed and were wide open. I didn't get an extra plant like some other customers did, :( but we won't give it less star for that lol.

The the carnivorous plant is not worth the money spent. Plant so tiny !! Had to look very close to find it. Not worth the price hoping what they sent me lives? Don’t order from this company, you will regret it. Sure you can find proper size plant for your money, some where else ? Tiny,, tiny, very tiny specimen!!
