What size roses do these dies make (in inches)?

The flowers will be about 3/4 - 1 inch wide depending on tightly you wrap them.

Do these work on felt?

No they are not thick enough to cut through felt, the raised cutter is very shallow

They are comparable with any machine that can use thin dies. I have a Sizzix Big Shot and they work great.
