Q: What are the inside dimensions of the box at the bottom? I want to put a glass plate in it that sets on the bottom. Want to see if it fits. Thanks!

I used to put glass in them but it became a hassle to clean. Now I set disposable paper palettes on the box so I can tear off used sheets at will. Set the entire paper palette in the box, tear off sheets until the palette is used up, clean box and replace.

Q: Difference between this palette with a blue lid vs the one with red lid?

I believe they are different sizes

Q: Will this product work with standard oil paints?

Yes, especially the water based mix able. Oils oxidize so it is the restriction of air mainly that keeps them fresh for traditional oils. I use it mostly for Acrylic paints for increased humidity as well, but have used it to keep oils fresh.

Q: Does it exist in 9x12"?

I’ve no idea. The watercolor and acrylic palettes come in smaller sizes.
