Love this ashtray! I keep it in my car. Passengers tend to ask what it is. They’re all impressed when they find out it’s an ashtray. Going to buy a friend’s one, for her birthday. 😊

This is my second ashtray from this seller. I first ordered the white/pearl one and then a friend was marveling over how great it was, so I purchased the bronze with red roses for her as a gift. The ashtray is so sturdy, I've used mine over a year now with no problems at all. The fact that it has a sliding cover that you can bring down to automatically snuff out the cigarette so you don't have to touch or handle it when finished is probably the best feature of the ashtray. You just pop it in and close the cover and because of the lack of oxygen, within a couple minutes it goes out on its own. I like this feature a lot because I really don't like handling used up cigarettes and I don't like looking at them in the open in a regular ashtray. The sliding cover solves both of these issues.The ashtray is made with an enamel coating so it always looks pretty just as a decoration sitting on a shelf. I like that I don't have to worry that visitors will see snuffed out cigarettes in an open ashtray. The ashtray has three notches so more than one person can use it at a time. I really don't feel the need to "clean" the inside of my ashtray. I just empty the contents into a plastic bag and discard them in the trash that way. Once in a while, I take a cloth with warm water or some Windex and clean the outside of it, but it rarely even needs that.It's also windproof as the description states. You can bring this outdoors to a BBQ or picnic and not have to worry about the ashes blowing around everywhere. Once your cigarette is in one of the notches, it's out of and away from the wind, so you can have a much more comfortable experience. I'd definitely recommend this ashtray to anyone who smokes anything that is rolled in paper.This makes a great gift too. It comes in a very sturdy, re-useable, beautiful box with a bright golden yellow satin cloth lining the inside of the box and enveloping the ashtray. How great is that? All you'd need to do is wrap it or put it in a gift bag and you're good to go for a gift. This is a 5-STAR experience all around, from the moment you order it, to the moment you receive it, to the moment you gift it! I just love mine!

This thing is awesome! Looks great, functions better then expected! The lid will keep a moderate amount of smoke in, absolutely keeps the bad smell hidden

I bought the ashtray in March of 2020 fully expecting myself to lose it or break it or something within a few months, and lo and behold throughout the entire last 2 years while I moved 5 times it has been dropped, kicked, thrown, and once briefly set on fire and it's still holds upNeedless to say I'm going to be buying more to gift

I'm giving a 5 star review even though I received one with multiple flaws , red enamel paint smudged , not meant to have paint , the top will not stay in place , and then to top that the top piece is not flush to the rest of it ~ Added Comment : 9/25/2017 ~ I received an email offering a solution to the ashtray ~ I'm more than happy to send back to Amazon , which I will give them a call after posting this ~ Sometimes an item can get sent out that is not meant to be sold , maybe my ashtray just did not go through quality control ~ I called and Amazon is sending out a label for me to return item ~ I don't feel comfortable keeping , and receive a refund too ~ so for that reason, because it was exactly what I had wanted I'm leaving 5 stars ~ They sent a total of 5 emails following up on the issue and stated , they'll do a better job with the QC ~ That is a plus ~ It truly is a very pretty ashtray ~ /=^}

The media could not be loaded.  This is made out of cheap plastic, the photograph is under great light mine actually is a very light green almost yellow and doesn’t look like the photo at all.

This ashtray is so pretty. I ordered it because I do smoke cigarettes. I do not like to advertise that fact. Especially when I have a guest that has never been to my home before. A dirty ashtray is so unwelcoming. Because I am able to close this ashtray it makes it difficult to understand what it is. It looks like a pretty piece of decor. I ordered the white and silver. Love, Love, Love my trinket!!

I like the fact that you could take it outside and you can close the lid and the ashes won't blow all over the place. And it was very cheap and very nice.

Not pleased that what was delivered was nothing like the photo of what arrived.
