I'm 56, and I've got very good skin. I don't have problems with open pores or blackheads. All I have is dry skin around my nose. I only started using a moisturiser on my face 7 years ago, and that was mainly to try to get rid of the dry skin. I've tried loads of facial products in an attempt to clear it up, but none worked. All the facial products I use are expensive but my mum always uses cheaper brands and Nivea is her favourite. I decided to buy this scrub but didn't think it would work when the more expensive scrubs didn't. On my first use, I squirted some out onto the back of my hand. Unfortunately, I must have squeezed too hard as a lot came out. I applied it to my face, making sure I paid attention to the dry areas. When I went to rinse it off, it took a lot of water to get it all off as I'd used too much scrub. Not long after I used it, I could feel my skin tightening, and when I looked in the mirror, my face was slightly red. I've sensitive skin, so that's probably why it happened. Before I applied my night cream, I ran my hand over my face, and all the dry skin was gone. My skin felt really smooth, and when I looked in the mirror, the redness had gone, and my skin was glowing. When I did apply my cream, I didn't need to put on as much on as I usually did. The next morning, my skin still felt smooth. There was no dry skin, and it looked great. I've been using this scrub a couple of times a week for two months, and it's kept my dry skin away. I can't believe how much money I've wasted over the years on facial products to clear my skin. I thought my skin looked great until I used this scrub at less than £3. It has given me a lovely clear complexion, and I'll l continue to use it. If you're buying this scrub, be very careful when squeezing some out as you might find a lot will come out. As long as you only use as much as you need, this scrub will last for several months. I've learnt to be very careful when I'm using it. The good side of ending up with too much of it on my hand is that I use it to give my hands a good scrub. The grains in the scrub are slightly bigger than any other scrub I've used so it's really good for hard skin on your hands. I'm in a wheelchair so the palms of my hands tend to get rough as I'm always pushing the wheels. It's left my hands smoother than any hand cream has. I'll definitely continue to use this scrub and I'd highly recommend it!

⭐ First Impressions I don’t usually use exfoliators as the little bits drive me mad, but this one was completely different — not irritating at all. The tube is bigger than I expected, nicely designed, and has the usual neat Nivea packaging. ⭐ Application I found it works best applied with a buffer. When I used just my hands it slipped around and didn’t connect to the skin as much, but with a buffer it spread evenly and really got into the pores. ⭐ Performance After scrubbing and leaving it on for a few seconds before rinsing, my skin felt like I’d had a mini procedure — lighter, fresher, and wide awake. It even looked visibly brighter, and my pores were definitely unblocked. ⭐ Texture & Feel The exfoliating grains are fine and not harsh. It didn’t scratch or irritate my skin, which is rare for me. ⭐ Overall A surprisingly effective scrub that left my skin refreshed and glowing without discomfort. Works best with a buffer for maximum results. I’ll definitely buy again.

Doesn’t feel very exfoliating, at least not enough for me. I’ve started buying the boots own brand tea tree oil exfoliating face wash which is much better, far more exfoliating. This would be fine if you only want a gentle wash, but for me who has quite oily skin I tend to need a bit more. Very good price though and fine in a pinch

This face wash is ideal for oily or blemish prone skin. I normally use a face scrub first and then follow with this gel wash. I am not sure alone it would be sufficient in deep cleansing my skin. It lathers up nicely on your face and leaves skin feeling fresh and renewed.

I've used Salicylic acid face wash frm other brands, which are expensive comparatively. But this since I got it on a discount it's seems cheaper and affordable. Otherwise brand NIVEA has always been heavy on my budget. Coming to the product - it gives a super squeaky clean skin, yet doesn't dry up or doesn't give you that stretchy feel or dryness, use it on alternate Days or use it during ur night routine amd apply a good light moisturiser cream or gel which ever suits your skin. I've always been stocking up dermaco products Gave this a try and I like it. If price doesn't double up then I might re purchase it. . Happy buy so far. Neatly packed wth a pump packaging. Flowy consistency Very light on skin. Has a mild citric kind of fragrance. That's the only draw back. Products wth fragrance doesn't suit my skin well it irritates and causes itchiness, still I make it up with a good hydrating gel moisturiser for combination skin.. Try it you might like it depending on ur skin texture.
