The Crogan Adventures: Catfoot's Vengeance (1) Paperback – April 28, 2015

Oni is pulling a fast one. They're re-releasing previously published Crogan adventures with little more than new titles. Granted, it is in color now, but I know one kid who loves the Crogan adventures who was truly disappointed to get Catfoot's Vengeance, essentially the same book as Crogan's Vengeance, as a gift.

I wish I'd stumbled onto Chris Schweizer's Crogan Adventures earlier but I'm happy that this series on now on my radar. The story started off slowly with a forced framing device but once we begin the tale of Catfoot Crogan pure enjoyment starts. I love Schweizer's combination of cartoony character design and thick lines with realistic details and stories that assume that the reader has a brain and a decent attention span.Schwiezer provides a complex and twisty plot along with intriguing characters. I'm a bit sad that Schweizer has so many other Crogans to explore in future volumes because I would be happy just reading more tales abour Catfoot Crogan.I never read the original black and white edition of this tale but I was very impressed with the coloring of the current volume. I can't wait to share this series with my nephews and other young people who would enjoy this series greatly.Highly recommended.

Phenomenal book. I can't say enough good about this book, and really the whole Crogan series. Very enthralling and fun, but grounded in some solid values, this book is entertaining for pretty much any age. I read it in a couple of days and then turned it over to my wife for her fifth grade class!

Havent got the book yet, but I have seen it online. And I have known the author since 10,000 years ago (haha, it certainly feels like that).Great artist, Great artwork, Great book. That's all I can say.If you are a kid - physically (or mentally for that matter, like me), you would love this.5 starts straight up!
