KEENMen's Circadia Vent Low Height Breathable Hiking Shoes
M**H
My favorite model from Keen for every day use.
I read about the delamination problems all over the web. While I have always thought I am very abusive on my every day shoe I use for gallivanting around the city, working around the house, walking the dogs daily, and light trails near the home, I suppose there are some that are even more abusive than me. I have not experienced any worse breakdown on materials than other top named hiking shoe brands I have owned. The soles are adequately grippy, which I love because they don’t slip as easily on wet flat rocks/stones on trails crossing creek beds as I have experienced on my Moab 3’s, X Ultra 4’s, and Sawtooth X’s, but the trade off is the tread wears faster then others. But to keep me safe from falling and injuring my 56 yo body, I’ll take that trade off any day off the week. I have a little bit wider foot so I absolutely love the bigger toe box, and the heel lock design keeps my toes from smashing into the front of the shoe when on sharper declines. I’ve tried the newer Targee II’s and IV’s but I prefer the Circadia design over Keens other models. The shoe is super comfy right out of the box and I hear there is no break in period, It does take about a week or so before I would say they fit like a glove. I tend to get 3 or so years out of them before they are retired for a new pair. For me, it’s a wonderful shoe and I’ll continue to be a returning customer as long as the quality of the Circadia model remains top notch.

Great shoes
These were a bit pricey but they hold together very well. I have two pairs now, black and brown, and are comfortable and pretty true to size. Love having the larger toe box area helps stop the sore toes

Like a glove!
Keen are awesome quality foot ware! Even after months I put on my Keen's and they fit like a glove.

Glue your shoes together properly please!
They fit great, no break in period. Loved them for the week I wore them, however the soles started separating from the rest of the shoe. Too big a repair. It wasn’t like something was just peeling back a little. The sole was starting to separate 3-4 inches back from the toe. Figured it was a fluke, got another pair, same story. Such a shame because everything else is great about them. I suggest not getting these unless you never have to crouch down or are hard on shoes in any way, like if you only stand in them indoors they might be for you.

Comfortable shoes
The best part of the shoe is the uppers. Very well made. The soles, not so much. After a few months of wear, the support they give your feet is not very supportive. I really like Keen products but would like this shoe to have a better support for your feet. But, while it is very comfortable for most wear, I would not suggest it for rocky terrain.

Pretty durable keens
The quality of keens has dropped a lot over the years but this pair has been holding up fairly well, the heels do have holes in the bottom already. But they have a year warranty so I will trade them in once if they fall apart more. They are comfortable and fairly waterproof. I also like the style and color. I wear them for everything daily so they do take a ton of abuse.

Circadia purchase
My Keen Circadia shoes arrived today. I own two other pairs of their shoes, but not this model. I’ve had no problem with my previous purchases. However, this pair will not hold my heel in place. Not good for a hiking shoe. The side of the shoe even “Heel Lock” on both shoes. Trust me, there is no locking taking place. I’m quite disappointed and will be returning the product.
