Free up OBD II port while still staying connected
Works well, clips into the existing port w/o issue. I have these in three of my vehicles to keep the OBD II port available while plugging in my Banks Pedal Monsters and Derringer controllers.

I call it "My Car OBD Port Repair Kit." Plug and Play with no cutting required.
My OBD port clip broke after connecting car scanner multiple times throughout the years. I have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 252,000 miles, 3.6L, V6. I am a DIYer and this harness fixed my problem. I connected my broken OBD port (female end) to the new port (male end). The new harness has two female ends. I connected one of the female ends to the holding plate of my car. And the second is left close by as a second OBD port (new option). It worked as expected after I connected to my scanner. The connector is firmly in place. From the photos, you can see which port I decided to insert into my vehicle holding plate. Held it using three zip ties. Called the dealership and they suggested to go to a junk yard and cut the old OBD port from another vehicle. They told me that they never had someone ask for the OBD port. I told them no thank you and immediately searched online for a solution. This part required no cutting and truly is plug and play. I would not use the ones online that required cutting and splicing. Today, I am now whole again. Very happy with the fix. I call it "My Car OBD Port Repair Kit." Plus and Play with no cutting required. Thank you so much.

Excellent product
Just what I needed, cords are long but a few zip ties took care of the concealing of this item. Works like melted butter.

Exactly what I needed, but could be improved
I needed to add an additional port for an accessory and this worked exactly as I had hoped it would. The accessory functions as it should and no errors or lights on the dash that would indicate a problem. I deducted one star because the wiring coming out of the primary connector is not very flexible at all and sticks out noticeably beyond the dash. I was hoping it would be easy to hide, but it’s not.

If you want to hide a tracking device in a car
I used this to out a tracker in my 16 year old boys car. I wanted to make sure it was hidden well enough that even an expert wouldn't find it, and it worked. So if you want to keep tabs on someone without their knowledge. Id strongly suggest using this as well, but only if using an obd2 type tracker.
