Does what it's supposed to do !
Works as advertised. I'm using this to power a modified AR ES1 which still uses the stock motor. Two different apps I've downloaded to my phone confirm that the table is running exactly at 33.3 and speed only occasionally varies by a decimal point for a fraction of a second. Cogging is reduced, hence the motor runs quieter which is to be expected. For the money I don't think you can find a better all in one solution. It's attractively designed and well built, but most importantly, it does what it's supposed to do. A word of caution. Make sure your motor draws no more than 3 watts. The output on these is not limited, meaning it will supply whatever it is called on to provide within reason. If you have a 7 watt motor for example, which is common with VPI turntables and other tables with heavier platters, you will severely shorten the life of this PSU and it will eventually burn up and just fail. These run warm but shouldn't be scalding hot. If in doubt, verify with the manufacturer of your table first. I don't have anything bad to say about the Music Hall. I think it's an outstanding value for the money considering the performance it provides. Buy with confidence and enjoy.
