The folding one doesn't work at all. The other one works pretty well on a flat or slightly curved surface with only a slight angle. It held my phone on my car dash which is curved and has no flat areas well enough that I could see it while using a map app. I never left it on the dash in full sun, so no problems with it melting or anything. I did leave it in the car while over 90 degrees and it didn't melt or leave residue behind when I moved it. I liked it well enough to buy again, but not the folding one. If I could find the flat one alone I would buy again.

the sticky wore off pretty quick with my apple iphone leather case. I can wet down and clean it off a bit which makes it sticky again but it didn't last long after that. I'm sure it's the leather making it unsticky.

I like that I can just drop my phone on this instantly when the light goes green. Nothing time consuming like a bracket.It is sticky. Though I am using the top of my dash. When it got dusty I washed with water and dish soap. Was as good as new.Bad thing was it started getting gooey and coming off on my phone this year. But it's been three years (2018-2021) which is enough lifespan for $6!

I’m very upset that the product did not work for my Apple 8+ phone whether in the case or out of the case. It would not stick to dashboard but stuck to my hands. I wasted my $’s because I purchased it only to use in my car. I’m tired of holding phone for directions when Siri doesn’t talk.

Cool product but was confused with the instructions on how to use it.

I have a Subaru Legacy sedan, and I have tried 5-6 different phone holders to mount my phone...but none will stay in place because of the configuration of my dashboard. My air vents are slanted, plus the buttons are in the way, and the weight of my iPhone 7plus - all are are a bad combo to work with air vent holders. I tried one you plug into your cigarette lighter and has a tall arm to mount your phone...but it kept falling over. I mounted a suction cup one to the windshield - some would fall off, and the one that would stay had to be so far up on the windshield to clear the dash that it blocked my view to drive. This sticky mount stays put - even in an un-even spot on my dash (see pics) and holds my phone securely - my phone hasn't fallen at all! So glad I found this little gem!! Plus, there are two in the package, so I have another one to use somewhere else.

There should have been two items in this order, according to the description. When it arrived, the item packaging was cut open, the top of the bag placed on the one item inside, and the rectangular piece was missing. In addition, the item that did arrive had a cut in it. I will not be ordering this again.
