Excellent once you find one that works at all!
This works extremely well, if you can read the instructions. The trick is to update the configuration file to set the date, A or B, and the resolution. A is for constant recording and B is for motion detection.Note that the first one of these I bought from another vendor didn't work at all. If you check out the product reviews, you will see that lots of people get dead units when they order. It's worth returning the bad one and buying a replacement until you get a good one.

Good video & sound quality
Purchased this camera for some additional monitoring of activities at areas my home security cams cannot cover. All I can say is wow. The unit looks just like a older version of iPhone charger adapter, yet recording video & sound in superb quality. Easy to follow instructions to update time of camera, also changing recording modes between continuous or motion detected. Recommended.

At least most of the time the motion detection works. I have had really good results and some non-detections from this camera. When it works, the picture and sound is good. I bought more.

I've had the cameras for a week and they are working exactly as advertised. Set-up was super easy and Windows Media Player handles the videos without problem.

One camera became useable within 2 hrs. Files listed as being on it were unreadable. The other was stuck in the auto mode recording every 3 minutes and the instructions for changing it to motion activated didn't work There wasn't a phone number for tech support All in all totally disappointed

Records upside down -- replaced be seller
Works as expected, except to record the video right side up you have to have the USB plug on the top, which means that if you want to have this look like a charger, with a cable plugged into it, the cable housing and the cable itself is in the recording, and if you're using a regular electric plug near the floor, you can't see much above ankle level. I think it may have been assembled upside down.Manual is terrible, very difficult to understand because of translation issues.Also gets noticeably warm when plugged into the wall.Seller sent a replacement after I had returned it, and the new one works as expected, video is right-side-up. I've increased the rating to 3 stars, but still can't go higher than that because of the abysmal manual, which not only suffers from translation issues, but is so small as to be almost unusable and I have corrective lenses. See attached image, with US penny for scale.
