Bentgo - Kids Prints Lunchbox - Stainless Steel - Unicorn

The stainless steel part of the received product has a large scratch, and the outer packaging box is also severely damaged. It appears that a returned item was sent out again. This product is not in a sellable condition and will be discarded. Replacement option is not exhist so need to return and buy again.

I was very excited to receive this product, after searching and reading for hours this was a brand that offered verified quality and safety, the first disappointment was when I took it out of the packaging, the size is so big that it wouldn't even fit in a lunchbox and extremely heavy for a little one in kindergarten, also a little complicated to open because the silicone compacts with the aluminum so you need to apply a lot of force to release it, and it is also complicated to close because you have to make sure you raise the lid before lowering it, too much for small children, the worst thing is that I paid $ 60 for this lunchbox and I received something that looks used, it is stained and although it is said to be stainless steel it has rust marks, really disappointed, I am returning it.

Sadly need to return, as it doesn’t fit the Bentgo lunch bag with the same pattern. A bit deceiving, as it looked like the same set. Otherwise nice lunch box.

The print is cute and my daughter loves it BUT it's extremely heavy! That and the hinges seem hard to use but we'll practice together before school. She's only turning 4 so I really don't know how well it'll work for her but I will update my review when I can. In the meantime... what makes it so darn heavy?! It's not insulated, silicone isn't that heavy, so what is it? We have stainless steel plates a bit smaller that aren't nearly as heavy. What in the world makes it so heavy?!!
