Can this get wet? It seems to have sand or something in it and I cannot get it cleaned out

Ours get wet all the time and no problem. In fact I run them through rhe diswasher

Can it be inflated? Mine arrived smashed in on one side

Mine is hard plastic and I don't see how you could inflate it. I would send it back as damaged and reorder another one. Hope this helps.
