Bought this to go on a bicycle lacking a kick stand. Fit was perfect, was super easy to install and was able to adjust the size to make sure it was compatible. Loved the quality of the product and the color blends well with most bicycles.

I installed this on a Cannondale Adventure 400 Hybrid with Jumbo frame. The installation was slightly difficult because the long installation bolt had trouble clearing my front derailleur bracket as I'd insert if from the top. This Cannondale bike has a built in cross-member with a hole for a kickstand and the bolt needs to go in from the top at an exact 90 degree angle. I finally managed to get it through w/o having to loosen the derailleur bracket. Once past that issue the installation was simple. You'll need large allen wrench to do it. It's not usually a wrench size found in a bike repair kit like an Alien wrench. This kickstand operates and holds up my bike just fine. However, the adjustment button does stick out near my heel as I ride. I'm 6-4 and wear a size 15, so perhaps not an issue for smaller riders, but then smaller riders probably ride a smaller bike and have that kickstand set for a shorter length. I found I can loosen the attachment bolt and slightly reposition the kickstand to help keep this button closer to the lower chain-stay, but my foot can still catch it when my foot isn't completely straight on the pedal. Plus the adjustment made with the attachment bolt means the kickstand mount isn't as firmly locked in as I'd like given the shape of the mount.

Got a bike for grandson but kick stand was “ off” ordered this one. Had to get a longer bolt from hardware store but it’s perfect now. We were concerned but it’s a great buy! Sturdy product. Saved Christmas!!!

I bought this product as an alternative to paying a bike shop significant fees for parts and labor to install a simple kickstand on my new large-frame bike. The price on this Lumintrail kickstand was outstanding and I installed it myself in under 10 mins. It fits like a glove on the frame and keeps my bike upright for those pauses and stops along my rides. I've used it on 5 rides so far and the fold-and-lock mechanism works great. Initially I bought a center-mount kickstand, but when it arrived I realized my bike's center mount pre-drilled hole was much smaller than the bolt that the kickstand came with. I called Lumintrail's customer service number, and it was a fantastic call. The rep picked up right away (no hold music), and she helped me find the quickest path to exchange the center-mount kickstand with a rear-mount kickstand. She processed my return, helped me make the right purchase, and by the next day, I had received the rear-mounted kickstand at my doorstep. The entire call with customer service lasted under 5 mins and I was a super-satisfied customer.

Worked great for about a month, and the functionality was great (adjustable design!) but then when I tried to park my bike with the kickstand set the adjustable part’s plastic snapped and the spring, button and wire all fell off of the kickstand.

I have an Aventon Adventure 2, which is a great E bike. The only downfall is the weak kickstand it comes with. It was all stripped out and I was going to drill it out and attach it with nuts and bolts. Before I did that, I tried this kickstand. It works perfect. One bolt through the bottom frame hole, and in 2 minutes you're done. Its easier to extend and retract than the original kickstand, and the length is adjustable. Works perfect! If you have an Adventure Adventure 2 E bike, and the kickstand is falling off, get this kickstand!
