Works very well, very sturdy, easy to fill. I use mine in our hot tub and I didn’t like it floating into me if the jets were on or it was a windy day so I just got a yard of twine, looped it over the top of this dispenser and secured the ends of the twine under the hot tub cover. Problem solved.

Have had this for 2 years. It’s not pristine but does the trick. However the cap on the bottom got so stiff almost immediately that we have to unscrew the whole thing to add tablets which is a pain. Some of the threads have discolored and broken off a bit but doesn’t affect the function. It’s a cost effective and easy way for us to keep our hot tub clean.

New use! This is a bit expensive, but it works well for my purpose. I place one small bromine tablet in it and float it in my toilet tank. We have well water with a lot of iron. Even thought we have a whole-house purifier and a salt system, the toilet tank was always full of gobs of black mold! So disgusting and difficult to clean. Enter bromine and this float dispenser! Immediately after a couple of days I could tell it was working. Now, after one month of use, the tank is 100% free of mold! I never even had to scrub it. I only had to flush the handle and hold it down for a few moments about twice a day for a week. Each time I did that, some of the black mold would go into the toilet bowl and then flush out. After a while, there was no more! Now when I look into the tank it is perfectly clean. In this dispenser, which floats at the top of the tank is easy to use and refill with the tablet.

Easy to load and set the flow rate

It works fine. Nothing elaborate about it. Drop in chlorine tab. Throw into spa. Repeat. Top screws off to accept the chlorine tab. In the water the dispenser immediately goes to the proper orientation. So yeah, nothing exciting here. Just works as expected. UPDATE: I 've used this floating dispenser for about two months. No issues until this afternoon. Checked the status of the chlorine. When I put the top back on I realized that one of the small plastic tabs that sort of secure the cap had broken. The cap has a bayonet locking "mechanism". The top does not thread on. Just one small turn and the lid is held on by two tabs. One of the tabs is gone. Not sure how that happened. Does the chlorine affect the integrity of the plastic? Did I just get a bad one? Not sure. It is usable. Kinda. I suppose I could secure the lid with tape or something. As long as no one is in the spa then the dispenser can just float around. But put two people in the tub, turn on the jets and the dispenser starts get tossed around. And that lid now falls off. Probably gonna have to order another one.
