Very Good Read!
I have been looking for a book that speaks about the spirituality of nature. I came across a few titles, ordered them, but returned them because they weren't exactly what I was searching for, they were not informative and rather boring. But...this book, Earht's Echo, is exactly what I was searching for. The author really makes a person realize that we are a part of nature, all in one - one in all. I have been reading books on Taoism, Buddhism, and Eastern Thought for several years, and this book agrees with what I have discovered. If you are being drawn to nature or if you have started seeing nature with different eyes, then this book will be an exciting read for you. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is on the spiritual path and being drawn to the spirituality of nature.

A trusted companion on the spiritual journey
For those who want to connect with the spirituality of nature, Robert Hamma’s book offers a path to the natural awe, beauty, mystery and wisdom that nature holds. A book that one can open to any page and find just the right reading, poem or passage. Highly recommended.

A new mediation and prayerful practise
Robert Hamma has compiled and written a beautiful book based on the ancient practise of lectio divina. Adapting this monastic practise, Hamma shows the reader how to see the Divine all around us in Nature. He draws on many other authors, including naturalists, philosophers, poets, and scripture in showing us that we need not be a naturalist or scientist or poet ourselves in order to see the Divine in the world around us. The passages he quotes, Hamma's own reflections and responses are beautifully and simply presented. Reading this opens up one's eye's to the notion that "while the assertion that nature reveals God is not surprising, the claim that nature is a sacred presence in itself may be." (Hamma, 2002, p16).
