Solid stuff for connectivity issues
Works brilliantly. Have a router at ground floor, this fella provides solid signal across 1st and 2nd floor. Easy to set up, took a few mins only. Would highly recommend.

Impressive Device
This absolutely transformed the WiFi signal in our home. From only having one bar of 5ghz signal upstairs to total perfect coverage. Totally brilliant device and faultless connection ever since installing.Installation is incredibly simple tooHighly recommended.

OK Product
It works! Quite easy to install (I used network cable and laptop) and it stays connected pretty much all the time. Coverage not bad but it does not like thick walls. A bit pricey, I thought, for what you get but certainly lot cheaper than new router setup.

Game changing, solved to issues I had before getting this Extender.
Excellent, easy to set up, I does what it says on the instructions and most of the other review.I have a number of Wi-Fi extenders and non of them worked when I tried to connect to a workable speed on my EV charger that was at the side of the house. I reset the Charger connection to the WiFi - EXT signal and I have a strong signal now. I also had to stop using one of my security Cameras as it only worked on band 2GHZ, we’re as all my other smart devices are 5 GHZ, now I can connect all of them, game changing. Well worth the money.

Brilliant Product.
I bit the bullet and bought this after having a dismal failure episode after buying one of the cheaper plug in so called extenders. Wow! is a word for it. I wanted a good wifi signal in my summer House for Grandkids and myself to use tech down there, about 30 plus meters from my Plus net Modem which delivers 900mb but hardly a spit anywhere else. Setting up was a breeze after sorting out its duel wifi, best on 5ghz by the way, you need to find that out and need to configure via wifi password for both 2.5 and 5. That will give you two options on your phone ect.I now get a really acceptable speed more than 60 meters from the modem.

Disappointing
Purchased this to upgrade the RE550 I currently have. The RE700X was setup in Access Point mode - just like the RE550.After updating the firmware to the latest version, (1.0.9 at the time) various settings had gone missing that were there on the original firmware (1.0.3) the most obvious being the 160mhz.After a factory reset, the missing settings returned. Bizarre. After using the RE700X for a day or so I noticed the odd disconnection and instant reconnection on some of the devices connected to it, along with higher battery drain on devices when they were idle. This was the main issue I had with the RE700X. For some reason when devices were idle, the battery drain seemed heavier than on the previous RE550. (Both using the 5Ghz, the same Channel, the same width), the settings were practically identical to that of the RE550.I unplugged the RE700X and added the RE550 back, left it a few days and device idle battery drain was back to was it usually was. I tested this several times overnight using the same mobile device with the different extenders. In a 7 hour period the RE700X was draining roughly 14%, whereas the RE550 was draining 6/7%.I also tested the same mobile device with the main router (AX86s, which is also WiFi6 etc) the device drain was similar to that of the RE550.I did contact TP-Link and they ran through a few steps but nothing seemed to work. In the end I gave up and returned the device.Maybe a duff unit, or maybe just not a great model. I guess newer isn't always better!Edit: TP-Link believe this could be an issue with the Firmware and TWT (Target wake time)

Better than Sky Wifi Max Pod & much cheaper! Don't let SKY rip you off anymore!
If you got sky wifi max pod and being ripped off for £10p/m, buy this... work perfectly and pays for itself in a few months. Don't let Sky rip you off with the pod monthly costs.. Easy to set up, took about five minutes.

Won't mesh with my existing BT router and Netgear extender
I bought this to further extend a mesh network in my house, home office and throughout the garden. My existing setup had a fairly recent router, and a Netgear extender. Thanks to MESH technology, both broadcast the same SSID, providing seamless roaming around about 75% of my home and garden. But there was a "dark" area with at best, a very patch WiFi signal, and my original Netgear extender is no longer available new. After reading the reviews, I opted to buy this TP Link RE700X. It arrived first thing next day, and I eagerly plugged it in, and pressed the WPS buttons both on the extender and on my nearby router.A minute or so later, and the LEDs showed it had successfully connected. But weirdly, none of my devices in the "darker" parts of my network, showed any improvement. Then I noticed a new SSID had appeared nearby, with a very strong signal. It had a similar name to my router's SSID, but suffixed with "_EXT".This means it wasn't part of the mesh, but effectively an independent access point. And to connect any device to this new SSID_EXT, meant having to type in my randomly generated 63-character password. That's on EVERY device, because most of them don't support WPS.But hang on a moment, I thought, this was advertised on Amazon as "TP-Link Mesh WiFi 6 Booster". Why wouldn't it "Mesh"?I downloaded the user guide, and started reading. Turns out it only meshes with something called "EasyMesh", not earlier, completely effective Mesh technologies, including my BT router and Netgear extender. So I reset this device, and have returned for a refund. I have also just ordered a Netgear extender (EAX12), which I expect will work perfectly out of the box.
