So close and yet so far
It's absolutely beautiful and made with an artful craftsmanship that could easily pass for an Apple design.Sadly, it won't pass power to my 12" MacBook and since I only have a single USB-C port, the power is a bit of a sticking point. But, my MacBook's battery life is phenomenal, so I thought I might try using it with my laptop on battery power. Without a monitor or ethernet or any other device connected, my external drives don't get enough power to run. It has a 5V power supply, but 4A gives it just enough juice to run the card reader and a thumb drive, anything more than that and nothing works. I am really disappointed, because I wanted several at work to go with our planned MacBook replacements in January, and now I have to keep looking.

WNNT rocks
This is the best dock/hub for the new MacBook Pro. Seriously, If you own a new MacBook Pro and hate that fact that it has only type-C USB ports and nothing else, then this neat accessory will solve all your problems. This docking system is slim about the same length of 15 inches MacBook but packs all the ports you need: HDMI, headphone output, microphone input, microSD, SD, 3 USB 3.0 ports and a LAN port. Bear in mind that this docking system is designed for both PC and Mac. For new Macbook, it comes with a type-C adaptor which can be easily converted to USB port. The aluminum enclosure matches the MacBook Pro for both design and color. With this docking sytem, I can easily connect my MacBook Pro to my large display, my GoPro microSD, SD from my camera, my USB flash drives, hard drives and microphone and headphones. What is also great is that it comes with three anti-slip rings that make the dock very sturdy. After you put the anti-slip rings and seat your Macbook on top of the dock, it actually looks like a whole piece. I can throw it in my carrying case and pull it out when I need the extra ports at a coffee shop. The WNNT dock is the one that I ever need for my new MacBook and it has made me love my Macbook again. I highly recommend this gadget for anyone who owns a new MacBook.

Doesn't work!
Got this as a present for Christmas. Doesn't work with my new HP Spectre X360 (Y4P52AV). Constantly connecting/disconnecting/connecting power to the laptop. Connected flash drives appear & disappear. Never is it stable; it never stays connected long enough to do anything. Worthless, and I will be sending it back!
