365 by Whole Foods Market, Chelated Iron 18mg, Vegan, 100 Capsules

I have always had issues with iron supplements in the past cause gastric issues. This one has been surprisingly easy on my stomach. I like how its a capsule so you get that metallic taste in your mouth like with he tablets. Overall, a great daily supplement for those who need more iron.

This product keeps my iron at a healthy level and doesn’t cause the stomach pain that most iron supplements do. The price is good too.

Affordable daily amount of iron

Love the chelated iron. I have anemia and have to take daily supplements. I use it on a daily basis and it does not hurt my tummy.

I have low iron. This one helps keep me from getting constipated without hurting my stomach.

I need to supplement my iron, but found that the digestive effects of the traditional ferrous sulfate - which seems to be the default - are intolerable. The chelated iron options seem to cause far fewer issues. Not ZERO issues, but quite tolerable. Taste? Um, not really an an issue, though for some reason I get a faint sense of licorice / anise when I take the capsule. Don't forget to use something containing vitamin C along with this to improve absorption. There are preparations which include that, but they are all of the ferrous sulfate variety as far as I can tell. I get a bottle of chewable C tablets at the same time.

I needed to find a low-dose form of iron. The 365 brand is the lowest dose that I could find anywhere on the market. It's exactly what I needed and you'll have to look hard to find a lower dose then this one. The price is also excellent.
