I looked at many different welcome baby plaques for several days and decided to go with this one for my first newborn. It isn't too small like some of the others had in the reviews. It is very lightweight. It came in a beautiful gift box and even had a small extra piece of wood to test your pen out on before you make a mark on the actual sign. I love the mini easel it came with to hold the sign-up. 100% happy with my purchase!

This is a cute inexpensive Baby Welcoming Sign and not only is the sign carved instead of printed, the easel makes for a cute holder which we used at our baby shower. It’s one of those truly worth it Amazon purchases

I am delighted with the quality of the wood and laser engraving. I bought this gift for my sister and I’m sure she will love it for her new baby. Also this product comes with a pen test piece that is very useful.

The sign comes in a dainty cardboard box with crinkled paper padding, a small easel, and a wooden rectangle marked “Pen test.”When I got a similar sign for the birth of my son a while back, I remember how much of a hassle it was to make sure I had a good writing instrument. Kudos to the manufacturer for including that little scrap of wood! I tested some pens, markers, and a fancy oil-ink pen I had. They all worked fairly well, with the ballpoint looking the nicest. The wood is on the softer side, but still hard enough that the ballpoint didn’t make too big of an indentation. The marker ink also didn’t feather out as much as I have seen with this sort of wood signage, but I wouldn’t recommend using a felt-tip marker, or an oil-based one.All in all it’s quite lovely, and something I could see repurchasing to give as a baby shower present. I’m going to use this as part of a memory book for my baby.

Cute little sign, perfect for a newborns first pictures whether it be in the hospital or at home. The sign is the perfect size to fit inside of a bassinet, on the provided miniature matching stand. The sign is light weight and neutral - you can use it for a boy or girl!I like that it comes with an extra piece of material so you can test out your pens or markers prior to writing on the actual sign.The overall packaging and delivery of the item was cute. I liked the shredded filler paper rather than plastic or bubble wrap as it’s protective/decorative inside packing.I would definitely gift this to a new or expecting mama❤️

I got this as a gift and it was well received, both from the mom-to-be and the people present at the shower. Something unique and very giftable. Lightweight and a good value.
