The product is amazing. For anyone that has boots - especially western/cowboy boots this is stuff is great. I had gotten boots from 2freeboot dot com. The place where you buy a pair of boots and you get two for free. So I got a lot of boots lol.... in a few designs and colors. This did the trick for all of my boots. Just as an example - Black was shining, Tan came back to life, and Brown was not tan anymore. It doesn't a lot of product; a little goes a long way. Rubbing it in can be a little tiring if done right. The product does seem mostly all natural too as it doesn't have strong chemical smells. The small tub of it should be plenty for most applying this every 3 months depending on wear and tear. I am mostly using my boots in an office now so every 6 months at most but every month for the boot enthusiast for sure.

The paste is absorbed nicely and makes the leather look great. I have a vintage lambskin jacket that was in desperate need of care. The paste darkened the leather slightly but it looked great when i was done. Good stuff.

I tried several products (sprays, drops and creams) to loosen some leather bracelets and this product worked the best!

What is the best way to remove excess? i applied it to a chair and it worked great, but there are a couple of places that are still “sticky”. I’ve tried to “buff” them out but to no avail. Any recommendations?

Did 4 pairs of shoes. Certainly darkened the brown and gray shoes. Black shoes improved and renewed. Cleaned white trim with Grandma’s Secret Sneaker Cleaner. Then upgraded leather with this. Excellent. I wanted darkened and enriched for the gray and brown shoes. Found $130 brown leather sneakers at a thrift store for $6. Great foundation, just worn and faded and dirty. Now like new!

Used this to condition my jacket, my boots and break in a hat I've been trying to break in since 2007. it leaves an almost wet appearance when applied over polish and successfully re waterproofed my jacket and boots and antique motorcycle seat. when I run out I will be ordering more

I expected it to smell like new leather, but it does not. It's f-a-i-r-l-y odorless, but another buyer had mentioned he/she thought it smelled like leather. It does NOT smell like leather. I didn't even try it out so it would still be new when I returned it. My husband had a container of Turtle Wax Leather cleaner, so I tried that. If you want a leather cleaner that smells like new leather, try Turtle Wax Leather cleaner. I returned the Salty Fish and ordered some Turtle Wax brand instead.

This product is awesome I needed something that would not smell I bought this new leather bag , I put the mink oil on it And not only is the bag beautiful but the mink oil salty fish worked excellent. Not sticky and no odor this really brought out the Luster I wore Plastic gloves when I applied it I’m glad I did I put it on very heavy but it is a great product
