Q: what does L stand for in dimensions

"L" stands for Length. I think in this case height and diameter would be a more helpful measurement. The 12 Quart Stock Pot measures 11.75 inches in Diameter and 8 inches in Height. Hope that helps.

Q: Is this induction pot?

I have never tested to see.. If you want to see hold a magnet to the bottom and if it sticks then yes it is an induction pot

Q: Does handle and lid holder get hot?

Yes the handles and lid knob do get hot. Still I consider the pot an excellent value - good weight and heat distribution at the base yet lightweight on the sides. After a month of frequent use it looks new. I recommend it!

Q: Are they still shipped with the giant sticker?

Mine had the sticker but I heated it with a hair dryer and slowly pulled it off with not much trouble.
