Still waiting to test the tool's effectiveness
I tried it in two conventional bathroom sinks, both with clearance of about 8" between faucet spout and drain. I had no problem attaching it to the bathroom faucet except that in both cases the faucet insert had difficulty seating properly. It helped to turn on the water slowly after putting the tool together and down the drain. That helped the insert to seat and the device not to leak.Unfortunately I can not rate the tool's effectiveness because in the end, both blockages were farther down the line and not in the traps. Ultimately I had to take apart the drains and use a snake down the lines to clear them.

An impressive mini pressure washer for your sinks! Just remember NOT to let go of the pipe when it's under pressure! :O
I heard about this doodad on a weekend DIY talk show. The sink in the main bathroom was running slow & this seemed to be an easier option than taking everything apart. I especially liked not having to use chemicals or scrub & scrape out the pipes! The pros:+ Comes with everything you need, including a rubber piece to make it easier to remove the aerator.+ Illustrated instructions for easy setup & use.+ Nothing to clean up, just drain the pipe & store away for the next time.+ Advertised - for sinks - bathroom, kitchen, laundry.+ Advertised - lifetime guarantee+ Advertised - fixes multiple drains, immediate results.+ Advertised - non-hazardous, 100% eco-friendly.+ Advertised - guaranteed to fit faucets with removable aerators. The cons:- Expensive at $19.49 + $5.70 shipping... $25.19 when I purchased mine.Closing remarks:▪ This thing generates a good deal of pressure... as I found out when it jumped out of my hand! This added substantial time to the project, as my son & I spent at least a half hour toweling down the walls! :O▪ The thin pipe fits nicely into the sink overflow hole, cleaning out lots of nasty stuff!▪ No need to take off sink popup stopper, as the thin pipe fits around it. Again there was lots of black nasty stuff, but in no time at all, the drain was clean & running freely!▪ Cleaning the sink also removed an odor that persisted in our main bathroom. I believe it was caused by all that black nasty stuff that this doodad cleaned out of the drain & overflow. :)

Not good for me
I can't use it on my bathroom sink because you need a sink where the faucet goes up high like in the picture. It will not work on a typical bathroom faucet.

I used this on both bathroom sinks that were draining slowly and it helped clear some of gook in the pipes but not all. Had to follow up with chemicals to finish the job.
