Looks complicated but after a while you get used to it
Although it has the KODAK badge it is not a KODAK product in that sense , but none the less it has features that are different to other 360 cameras that set it apart from the rest. It is quite small and thus can easily fit into a pocket , the cost in this aspect is the lcd screen is also very small and going through the menu options is a bit fiddly to start with. However if you look at the instruction sheet for the menu you will find it just as structured as say the menus on a GO-PRO. The camera comes in the form of two accessory kits and these include accessories that make operating the camera that much easier such as a camera stick do that you can get better 360 views, a module that allows remote access to the recording and menus of the camera and various other bits and pieces like what you get in a GO-PRO kit. The quality of the finished video is very much dependant on how you process the recording , you can use the inbuilt merge or download the software suite that has better editing and stitching routines. Overall for the price one most accept that for what you get you are not going to get the most perfect results . Maybe this is an ideal way to get into the world of 360 video at an entry level and make some you-tube videos , it is not a professional piece of kit so do not expect too much of this product and you should become happy with it

It really takes 360 degree (spherical) images.
It can take stills and movies. It works well and is reasonably easy to use. I haven't mastered it yet. The one downside is it makes one want super high resolution images that one could zoom in endlessly. The resolution is pretty good but not as high as if the image were on a more restrictive area. The way to explain this is simply that the HD image is spread over half a sphere, so the pixels are spread out across the entire half sphere. The second camera covers the other half sphere. So instead of a normal camera which concentrates the image resolution in a small area, this camera uses them to cover the entire 360 spherical space. If you want super high resolution of a small area, this is the wrong camera. If you want a spherical image of the entire environment that you can look around, it is great.

Not as expected. Not quality videos, Apps for mobile and PC, terrible and bad to use.
I had so high expexctations on this camera that i am not impressed, in fact, i am dissapointed with it.IQ is not present. Pixelated pics, and videos at any resolution. As other revioews mention, the stitching line is more than blurry: unaceptable.Other way, the apps (In my oppinion, the Android one wich i have tried in my ghuawei phone) is painfull to use, slow and no intuitive. Ver very limitated options to share on Social networtks. facebook and youtube only, but not in all video and photo 360 configurations is possible to.And about the VR 260 suite for PC, is impossible to share with facebook, as no option to add SNS facebook account has been adedd. This is only possible to add Youtube SNS account.Technical support, incredible slow: i have requested support two days ago by email, and i am still wating reply.I will give them a few days more. If no reply or solutions to this terrible errors, i will sent it back to ask the refund.

Fine for amateaurs, not for a pro
I'm a professional photographer and I have been wanting to get into 360 photography for a while. I purchased this camera because I thought it would be a good test to see what I could do with this type of camera first before going out and getting a more-expensive one.But I quickly learned this is a point-and-shoot camera. You can't adjust any settings on it (not even the ISO). The only setting I could adjust is the white balance. The few photos I took did turn out fine. But again, I want to be able to control how it shoots before I shoot it, not just in post. Also, there's no screen on the device, so you have to use an app either on your phone or desktop to use it. The phone app isn't bad. But the desktop app is very clunky and hard to figure out. Also you have to connect via wifi to use the desktop app, so I lost my internet while using it. Again, not ideal. As I said, if you're just wanting to play around, have some fun, and not break the bank, this camera is fine. But if you understand photography and want to be able to use it for work, I'd suggest saving your money and getting one with more controls.

Its not what it seems.
The camera does what it says. Connecting the buttons takes time to pair and understanding this is not an issue. The issue is the phone software is poor and disconnects randomly. Photo quality is not good. Not sure if it the compression or something else. The stitching line is very obvious. cameras seem to set different aperture when taking photos or videos outside in bright sunlight. The camera makes ok videos when inside or in a neutral area. If uploading to Youtube ... you must realize that youtube will take time to process the video and when watching on a VR player. This will also require a fast connection. I have the Oculus Quest 2 and places the files straight onto the headset thinking I was able to view them directly. this didn't work. Not sure if it's the file type or what. Overall the unit works but has many things you must do to get it to work the way you want. Not for the simple guy wanting to take video and show people. Must buy software and have knowledge of what you are doing. The reason I am returning is due to this the software and the button on the camera are not simple and must use the flow chart that is provided with the camera to get where you are needing. Just note that the resolution is not 4k viewing. It's 4k stretched per camera view so one side will be cleaner than the other.

Accessories are the weak points of this 360 camera
I enjoy the camera, the accessories have given me problems. The clip that holds the remote broke, the the selfie wand broke in the point where the button controls are. Both are weak points of failure. The camera is great for its price point, the accessories are cheaply constructed.
